I saw a show documentary type about the hijackers and the various illegal licenses tied in with all the illegal licenses they were giving out for cash to the people working for the Motor Vehicle Dept. it was quite awhile ago, so I can't recall which network had this, may have been FOX...(they mentioned some of the hijackers being registed to vote and all the other illegals that can too)
I also read about this some in either the American Spectator or something like that.

Those people should be required to use their drivers license as ID. What possible excuse could the Dems have for not requiring that? They always try to say that requiring ID isn't fair because not everyone has it. Everyone who registers through moter voter does.

Been obvious to me for a LONG time. Grant rights to illegals and those illegals will follow you for life. The heck with America though. The voter is more important to a liberal. Liberals also want people voting as young as possible because the younger the vote, the less likely the person understands that handouts must be paid for and are NOT FREE as liberals like to advertise. Young voters overwhelmingly will go Democrat because programs sound good to the uneducated or uninformed ear that has no clue otherwise. Remember in 2004 in California, 4 Democrats proposed that voting could begin at 14, with a 14-15 year olds' vote counting as 1/4 vote, and 16-17 yr olds' vote counting as 1/2 vote. They know those were a surefire high percentage of Democrat votes. It went down in a ball of common sense, but it was proposed.
Liberals are scared to death to be on the wrong side of getting that voter bloc of illegals who become legal. Liberals are hell bent on being the ones who hand out those keys, because that's a voter for life. Someone who "freed" them.

(When I switched counties and filled out a voter registration card, I sent it in without checking the box for "Are you a U.S. citizen?" I then received a very courteous letter in both English AND Vietnamese, asking me to fill out another enclosed card and check said box. Note: without asking me to PROVE if I was or wasn't a citizen.)
i have to say this juicey piece of proof of big government uselessness has been kept a good secret that i didn't know. what i want to know is why didn't the 5% of people who knew say something. kind of an important fact that we all should have known and they should have been screaming about for over 5 years.
i'm disappointed here folks. this should have been a common knowledge fact by now.
Because I did know that a bunch of them had licenses. I'd have guessed it's hard to get a driver's license these days WITHOUT getting registered to vote, so I'd have guessed at least some of them were also registered. Of course, the real question is "why did we learn this now, instead of when we first learned they were licensed to drive, since that's all part of the same public record 'journalists' are supposed to check, right?"

I think Krauthammer or Barnes pointed that out during a all-star discussion on Brit Hume's program on Fox News. They pointed out how easy it was to get a driver's license, voter registration, etc.
