Now that Obama and Edwards have done that, the MSM feels a little more “at ease” about raising the types of questions being thrown at her. True, some media outlets are trying to spin the hits as her showing that she is tough enough to be President, but I don’t think she can sustain her position of non answers forever. I think we may look back at this period as the beginning of Hillary’s downward spiral.

I've watched the Clintons come back from worse... Be happy and hope that, for once, they got a little of what's coming to them but don't hype it up too much just yet. Be happy and hope that, for once, they got a little of what's coming to them but don't hype it up too much just yet. They have a way of bouncing back stronger and nastier than before. I don't believe the Clinton Machine will die that easily. That kind of disappointment could be very depressing to experience.

Even McCain was smart enough to move right on this and change his rhetoric to "secure the borders first".
Somehow, the vast majority of our population, who are mostly apathetic about politics (even the war), are vibrantly opposed to rights/benefits/citizenship for illegal aliens. We are society that obeys the rule of law and we see illegal immigrants as lawbreakers.
It is the gay marriage issue of 2008...and then some.
