So, you think blogging is just for youngsters?
Think again, for the world's oldest blogger, Olive Riley, celebrated her 108th birthday on Wednesday.
Marvelously, the "Good Morning America" crew was there to help her ring in another year (must-see video available here):
CHRIS CUOMO, HOST. And finally, news of a birthday bash for the world's oldest blogger. (Voiceover) Olive Riley, who turns 108 this week, celebrated the milestone at a nursing home in Australia. She says interacting with the public has helped her stay young. Before beginning her Internet diary, Riley held several jobs, including one as a barmaid.
Wonderfully, Olive's blog is called The Life of Riley, and she made her 40th entry last evening after her birthday bash:
Good evening everyone. I had my birthday party today. Oh, it was lovely!
(Ollie's actual birthday is the 20th. But the Home, where she lives, wanted it midweek, not on the weekend.)
The lovely little children came, sang me songs, and then helped me unwrap my presents.
