Keith Olbermann: Terrorism Expert

June 30th, 2007 9:12 PM

Keith Olbermann, the same guy that pooh-poohed the seriousness of the terror plot of the so-called Fort Dix Six, hinted on his "The News Hole" blog last night that he had a similarly dismissive attitude about the London bomb attempts of June 29.

[Olbermann covered the story on his program, but I have not had a chance to review the tape]

Here's the pearl of moonbattery from Olbermann's blog last night (portion in bold my emphasis):

Picadilly Bomb Scare: The London bomb scare. The intent was clearly the real thing. But what these people put together and left parked, and, authorities say, twice failed to "go off"...Did it even constitute a bomb or would it have been at worst, a car fire?

The former State Department deputy head of counter-terrorism has his doubts...

In light of today's Glasgow Airport car bomb attempt and the arrests that have been made in what may be a wider terror conspiracy, hopefully Olbie's smarmy, dismissive attitude about plots of terrorist violence is wearing rather thin.
