Ron Paul calls for investigation into Rick Perry's involvement in secret Bilderberg meeting

For those of you adult enough to go to prisonplanet, check out this very interesting story about Texas Gov. Rick Perry. Living here in Texas, I know first hand this is extremely important.

And here is another article discussing his agenda at the meeting...

tp...do you ever answer questions

TrollPatrol...do you ever answer questions?

I asked a question about this in this other thread of yours.

If conservatives are RIGHT, then liberals must be WRONG.

LK - He never does.Time to

LK - He never does.

Time to give up on TP

content creation

Maybe the rules for creating content should be modified. If postings are for self-promotion (read: ARR's own website) , just promoting some nonsense, or never addressing serious questions, then perhaps they should not be allowed to create threads on the forums.

Let me state for the record, I am not promoting censorship or selectivity of ideas, just responsible posting. In fact, I welcome differing ideas. Myself and others actually enjoy the challenge of rebutting such ideas.

[Easier said than done.]

LK - That's fair. I'm just saying when someone such as TP posts the same things over and over, ignores questions form others, and won't debate on the facts maybe it's time to realize they won't learn anything.

FS...lol

Free...I think you misunderstand me. I am not feeding the trolls...I am baiting.

Be very, very quiet!...I am hunting troll. A huntng I will go, a hunting I will go ...

Happy Hunting! :-)

Free...thanks. I will keep in mind the advice and council. ARR seems to be a self-promoting lib that operates on pure emotion without any rational thought. NL has got the challenge...I think it is TOO easy, but sometimes it has got to be that way.

L8R...I am gone for tonight. Keep it real.

Lion King...maybe you shoul

Lion King...maybe you should read the article about the illegality of Gov. Perry going to the "convention." That should answer your question in the first post I had about this topic.

As for everyone else, it is pretty sad to see that you are so infatuated with me, whichwing, and LoD that you designate a whole thread just to the topic of trying to silence us. WW is right when he says this board does not like disagreeance.

It's easy to say someone doesn't answer questions and doesn't give facts blah blah...I could say the same thing about people on here, and in fact I do because it is true. I would say about 95% of my posts have some type of documentation/sourcing to back up what I say. I would say about 5% of everyone else does the same.

Do you like it when someone

Do you like it when someone disagrees with you? I know I don't, but there isn't much I can do about it unless I present them with facts and logic. But ultimately, they still have the choice to agree or disagree.

What do you expect? You come to a website where 99% of the regulars are diametrically opposed to the way you think, and you guys whine about us vehemently disagreeing with you. We ask for links, documentation, sourcing, etc because that is the only way/chance you have of convincing someone of changing their views. I know this isn't the way it works on sites like DKOS, etc. As everyone there bases their position on feelings and emotion.

And the disagreement you get here is far more mild than any disagreement I'd get on the Left-Wing websites. Do a little experiment and act like a conservative on DKOS or some other Lefty site, see how they treat you compared to how we treat you.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." --Thomas Jefferson

tp...so...again I ask, your point?

TP...I read the article. So, you and your libs think that Perry going to Turkey to speak on Federalism is a violation of LOGAN Act...how so? When Cindy Sheehan went to see Hugo, was that a violation? How about Mikey Moore visiting Fidel, another violation?

TP...tell me...how does it feel to be a liberal-hypocrite? [easy question for you since all it requires is an emotional response.]

If conservatives are RIGHT, then liberals must be WRONG.

The best part of this whole t

The best part of this whole thing is, i'm not a liberal. I've been labeled that ever since I joined this board for my views on 9/11. Nowhere have I talked about any of my political beliefs for anyone to "label" me a liberal. If you really want to know, I am a conservative/libertarian with a hint of liberal.

If you don't believe me, why have I been promoting Ron Paul so much on this site? Because I want him to win the presidency thats why. He is by far the most qualified candidate in the Arena on either side. Unfortunately, if he doesn't get the nomination for the Repub party, I will more than likely vote for the Dems simply on the Iraq war issue (that is if they are willing to pull out asap).

The question then is, is the Iraq war really that important? My answer is yes. The dems may be for big spending, but so are all of the other republican candidates AND if we stay in the war our debt is only going to skyrocket. If the Dems get us out, we cut MAJOR spending which is what we need right now. The spending of the miliary industrial complex is NOT  a good thing for Americans. Money to Halliburton does none of us any good (unless you work for them I guess).

tp..clarify

Okay...so you claim you are not a liberal. Then state you position briefly on the following:

  • War on Terror
  • War in Iraq
  • Income Tax Reform
  • Taxes in General
  • Social Security Reform
  • Welfare Reform
  • Illegal Immigration
  • Abortion
  • Assisted-suicide
  • "Gay" marriage
  • Big Government
  • Socialized Medicine
  • "Nanny-state" government
  • Separation of Church and State
  • Christmas Trees on public property
  • Ten Commandments in schools and courthouses
  • Term limits

Respond to this and define yourself by your beliefs.

Sure... War on what? This is

Sure...

War on what? This is a propagandist term that means nothing to me. It's the same as the 'war on drugs' or any other war that can't be won. Even people on this board have admitted that. (with that said, yes terrorism is bad and no I don't condone it. However, you don't fight terrorism with a war, you use police work to prevent attacks (that is if you believe radical muslims actually could pull off a 9/11 style attack)).

War in Iraq - Completely against it. The republican party is NOT the war party. Listen to Ron Paul to find out why not.

Income tax reform - Do away with income tax (again, Paul)

S.S. reform - for it but not sure what to do.

Welfare reform - Yea, get people off of it so we don't have to support them.

Illegal immigration - This is a HUGE problem. Clearly, I am not opposed to people immigrating to the U.S. If you are, you may want to travel back in time and tell your ancesters they need to go back to whence they came. However, there is a clear need for something to be done.

Abortion - Against it, but not a Federal issue. Let the people vote state by state (paul again).

Assisted-Suicide - not really sure

Gay marriage - For it. When you can prove to me that your opinion of what you think a "marriage" should be is right, i'll agree (i'm being facetious, don't try)

Big gov't - Hell no...get out of our lives. Unfortunately, the neo-cons have undermined this basic Republican value for HUGE military spending and shitty gov't programs (poor education reform, an uneeded homeland security. We were spending 40 BILLION dollars before 9/11 and look where that got us).

Socialized medicine - Don't know enough about it.

Nanny-state gov't - Not sure what this means. I take it like big gov't, to just stay out of our lives as much as possible.

Separation of church and state - yes

Christmas trees on public property - this is kind of a dumb question and dumb topic all together.  I grew up with christmas and christmas trees, so it sounds weird to not call them that. I think this falls into the 1st amendment?

ten commandments in schools and courthouses - not sure. I'm not religious at all so i'd probably say it depends. Maybe another state issue. But also, maybe seperation of church and STATE should take precident?

term limits - not sure what you mean

Oh yea, this does not "define" me. This is just what I personally believe at this time with the information that I know. It could change at any moment.

tp...thanks for the reply

At least on some key issues that seem to be major talking points, at least you have identified your positions.

First...many of these issues are state issues and should be left up to the states. Lawrence v. Texas is an instance where I think the Feds had no business.

Second...term limits means that Representatives and Senators should be limited to a certain number of terms; IMHO, I think 2 terms for Senators and 5 terms for Reps is more than enough...lifetime.

Third...this is a question...do you hate Republicans (except Paul)? Do you consider yourself a Democrat, Republican, or what?

If conservatives are RIGHT, then liberals must be WRONG.

First, I agree with state i

First, I agree with state issues being left up to the states, thats what a real "republic" (what the U.S. actually is) is all about. No need for the Fed to meddle with others affairs.

Second, I don't really have an opinion on terms. I'm sure a limited term is necessary.

Third, I don't understand how we can be labeled only one thing. We are taught that you are either a liberal or a conservative end of story. How can this be? Does this mean that if the number of conservative views I have outweighs the number of liberal views, then I am a conservative? or vice versa?

With that said, to say that you are 100% in favor of ALL conservative or liberal views/values to me is absurd. I guess it could happen, but it seems highly unlikely.

So, to answer your question, I do not consider myself any one thing. I am conservative about "this issue" while I am liberal on "this one."

As of late I have been particularly fond of Mr. Paul because I think he speaks the truth about many things that other Repubs will not. Namely the war in Iraq and the "war on terror." The only republican I actually hate is Ghouliani, becuase I personally think he knew about 9/11 and potentially had a hand in the setup (thats my opinion). He created his terrorism consulting firm in february 2002 which has made him and his clients over 50 million dollars, plus he gets on average $100,000 just to speak at events and what not. He is a true scum bag.

wearechange.org recently asked him why he didn't tell anyone the towers were going to collapse. After he denied that he knew, they reminded him of the phone call he had with peter jennings (I think it was jennigs) on 9/11 saying that he was told the buildings were going to collapse.
