The Democrats 'Double Standard' On U.S. Attorney's... SARASOTA, FL. (NS) - How soon 'some' people forget about what's happened in the past... Now with all the bashing of U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales's dismissal of 8 U.S. Attorney's for not following instructions, you would think this is the first time this has ever happened... Back during the Clinton years, then Attorney General Janet Reno did the very same thing and nobody has even mentioned it until now. And did she fire just '8' like current Attorney general Gonzales? Nope, try over '90'... One might also remember that Hillary Clinton's old Buddy, Web Hubbell also wound up in the Attorney General's office as well and Hillary was 'literally' running the Attorney General's Office thru the presence of her other old friend Janet Reno being there... Talk about a 'double standard'? Why is always that what's good for the goose isn't necessarily the case when it comes to the gander? In this case that happens to be a Republican Attorney General who is doing nothing any different than what Janet Reno did when she was the Attorney General under then Democratic President Bill Clinton... Coomon sense has to enter in to this when you see and hear who's saying what about the current issues being presented... Sen. Charles Schumer has no room to talk about anything given some of the things he's been in the middle of in good old New York State in the past... This issue just like the one with Janet Reno and her position on the Waco compound will go away. How soon we forget about all those children who were killed in the Waco standoff when then Attorney General Janet Reno ordered the Feds in... But then to bring that up wouldn't care with today's issue over current Attorney General Gonzales, would it? There's no facts like the 'old' facts that just happen to outweigh what's going on right now with the Office of Attorney General... I'll just let you figure that one out and learn from the lessons of the past... For now, that's just OUR opinion...
