I don't see the Rush comment as being out of line here. He is putting that comment in context (remember context?) with the media feeding frenzy about the two teams having black coaches. I thought that was a bit weird myself, the media's concentration on race rather than the teams.
But, I'm not a big football fan either.
Race in America has turned into a spitting contest of 'how offended' can we be? If I say, for example, gee a lot of the LA gangs have members from Central America in them, I get blasted for being a racist.
If I say, gee a lot of terrorists are Arabs, I get blasted for being a racist.

Even though I hear a great deal of negative comments about him (from libs), he keeps on getting reelected term after term after term. Must be us quiet types that actually make it to the polls.
