Real Time

If it’s Friday, HBO’s Bill Maher must be attacking conservatives as well as people of faith.

On the most recent installment of Real Time, the host did a lengthy segment accusing religious conservatives of being hypocrites saying, “There's always a good, moral, Christian reason to tell everyone you meet to f--k off and die” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

It really is hysterical listening to liberal Hollywoodans talk about politics.

Take for example actor/director Rob Reiner - made famous by his role as Meathead in the legendary sitcom All in the Family - claiming on HBO's Real Time Friday ("Overtime" web segment) that Barack Obama politically "is right around where Reagan was" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

On Bill Maher's HBO show Friday night, Democratic National Committe Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz insisted that President Obama's promise to the American people made over 20 times during a span of over two years, namely "If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan," was not a lie.

Maher, appeared to warm to the idea that it was a lie, but at crunch time decided that it was something, like Bush 41's "no new taxes" pledge, that "did not hold up to the realities of governing," representing "a moral complexity I'm okay with 'cause I'm not twelve." Far-far lefty Rob Reiner also felt it necessary to criticize Republicans "who are refusing to make this better." Maher, though he didn't seem to like it, finally concluded that Obama, who in his mind previously had an "almost sterling reputation for honesty," now faces the reality that "to a certain extent that ship (of his credibility) has sailed." Video and a partial transcript are after the jump (HTs to The Blaze and Mediaite, which in my view falsely portrayed Maher's degree of disagreement; bolds are mine):

The media drumbeat for Hillary Clinton to be the next president is truly nauseating.

Consider Rob Reiner, aka Meathead in the famed sitcom All in the Family, saying on HBO’s Real Time Friday, “If she decides to run, you will have the single most qualified person ever to run for President of the United States” (video follows with commentary):

Bill Maher on Tuesday made what people on both sides of the aisle will say is an extraordinary prediction coming from a Tea Party hater like him.

Appearing on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight, Maher said Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tx.) has a shot at becoming president in 2016 and will be very difficult to beat in the Republican primaries (video follows with transcript and commentary):

I’ve always said that it takes a lot of rationalizations to be a liberal these days.

Take for example HBO’s Bill Maher who told CNN’s Piers Morgan Tuesday that the President had to lie about people keeping their health insurance plans or else ObamaCare mightn’t have passed (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Bill Maher really is one sick puppy.

On HBO’s Real Time Friday, the host asked the federal government to legalize marijuana so that he could be able to hand it out to trick-or-treaters on Halloween (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Bill Maher made a truly disgusting comment about former President George H.W. Bush and wife Barbara Friday.

During the opening monologue of HBO’s Real Time, the host sad, “Over the years they were often mistaken for a same-sex couple” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

It's with good reason that Bill Maher's liberal politics don't prevent many conservatives from enjoying his comedy.

They know it's just a matter of time before Maher notices that the emperor is strolling down the sidewalk shorn of attire, and Maher will mock him regardless of the target's political affiliation. (Video after the jump)

Boy, that Bill Maher sure is smart, isn't he?

On HBO's Real Time Friday, the holier than thou host introduced guest Billy Crystal as "a comedy legend who has starred in such hits as 'When Harry Met Salary'" (video follows with commentary):

HBO's Real Time is currently on vacation, but host Bill Maher is still finding ways to offend conservatives while sticking a foot in his mouth.

On Saturday he tweeted, "Kudos to Barry for restoring constitution re war powers. Tea People shld luv it but of course wont cuz President Blackenstein did it":

It goes without saying that many conservatives think Bill Maher is one of the biggest losers on television.

Such sentiments are truer than you think, for as The Wrap reported Monday, Maher is BY FAR the biggest loser in Emmy Award history.
