Is this the new ghetto for heated debate enthusiasts?
Just wondering, because I was given that impression recently by another member.
So then does this mean that debate on the main page is now considered taboo? It's as if the majority of people out there online cannot seem to divorce their egos from their ideas. If you don't think your "truth" can take a beating, what do you have to hide? If my assertions fail to hold up under the searing heat of logic, scrutiny, reason, and dissection, why have them at all? Conversely, if your statements fail the same test, then why continue to protest?
If I had never stepped out of myself 12 years ago, tested, and examined my own worldview. . .I would still be a liberal on welfare.
Only hoping and praying this isn't the gulag for those that live, eat, and breathe serious debate. Someone please tell me I'm wrong on this.
