Thank Uncle Obama for signing the surrender papers with the release of the OLC memos.

No one on the planet can take on the U.S military on the battlefield. Islamist extremists cannot raise an army to take us on nor can they convince any convential army in the Arab world to commit suicide by taking us on.

So they have resorted to unconventional warfare through the use of terrorist tactics. Since our military is used to counter conventional forces for the most part, we counter with our on unconventional warfare experts, the CIA. With the release of these memos, we have taken away the best ammunition they have.

Your office has informed us that the CIA believes that "the intelligence acquired from these interrogations has been a key reason why Al  Qa'ida has failed to launch a spectacular attack in the West since 11 September 2001." (1)

We have now lost that key. My advice, stay away from large gatherings of people and anything that can be viewed as a symbol of America's economic, military and/or political might.

As discussed below, however, we understand that interrogations have led to specific, actionable intelligence as well as a general increase in the amount ofintelligence regarding al Qaeda and its affiliates. (2)

Yea, remember those days everybody, when we could get actionable intelligence. This is known as the good ol' days amongst those of us that still care about America.

Significantly, you have informed us that the CIA believes that this program is largely responsible for preventing a subsequent attack within the United States. Because the ClA interrogation program is carefully limited to further a vital government interest and designed to avoid unnecessary or serious harm, we conclude that it cannot be said to be constitutionally arbitrary. (3)

arbitrary:  3b existing or coming about seemingly at random or by chance or as a capricious and unreasonable act of will  (4)

Wait, the evil Bushies did not do this willy-nilly like we were all led to believe. They weighed vital government interest and avoiding unnecessary or serious harm against the Constitution and found it legal. Well, by God, they must be punished and these memos must be released!

Sincerely,

a Veteran of a 1000 psychic wars.
