Take Back the GOP

Okay yall, here is central command for taking back the GOP. Add comments and suggestions as you see fit.

 

These are the items that demand immediate attention:

-Reform the primary process. Limit this to no more than two weeks, allow only registered Republicans to vote, let dependable red states go first, and abolish winner take all.

-Send this petition to the RNC chair along with a letter that change will be coming or else. Get as many influential people as possible to buttress our voices. Remind them that dumping on Palin’s wardrobe is hardly the change we were promised.  

-Immediately contact House and Senate minority leaders and remind them that since they are the voice of the party they represent all of us.

-Each person will become familiar with their House critter and Republican Senators if applicable. Since House critters are more easily damaged by local dissent, focus on them. Start a local blog to publicly broadcast what your Congress critters do and share these findings with the rest of us. We can then strategize the best way for you to prod them on.  

-No more sending money to GOP central. Start funding true leaders like Bobby Jindal or Michelle Bachmann. If someone sticks their neck out to do the right thing, flood them with support, buy them flowers, or send them cash. Every conservative, no matter how local, must feel support from the nation.

-Zero in on weak Dems who can be ousted in 2010. Offer money and resources to their competition in the hopes of picking them off.  

-Each person will decide on one or two specific causes to champion, ie joining the NRA, picketing for Right to Life, or supporting conservative movies/music.

-Hound the media spokespeople for GOP and give them better talking points. Make sure Obama/Biden/Pelosi take full blame for their mistakes.  

-Hound all rinos with a promise that money is being spent to find their replacement.

-Teach ourselves why we have God given rights and why we hold our values so dear. Push more homeschooling for children. If you go to church, start a free tutoring ministry and drill some sense into those little minds.  

-Whenever an issue happens, we all pounce at once. Emails, phone calls, blog entries, public displays. Make the left tired of hearing from us.

-Tell the GOP we do not want Leiberman to become a Republican. As tempting as that one vote is, that’s just another rino we have to put up with.
