Someone please explain healthcare to me

I don't understand what the liberals are griping about the healthcare situation.. Someone please explain!

This comment breaks it down quite well, IMO. 

And I was just thinking of making a new thread about this anyway, as the old thread was getting sort of well. . .old. 

Also, there is going to be a Frontline special on this on PBS.  I'm planning on actually recording the show and then discussing it.
