As a trucker ,a windmill whirling around on my truck isn't the answer to power eighty thousand lbs of freight down the highway or for any other means of transportation, be that commercially or for personal means.Lets face it,fossil fuels power this world.Fossil fuels have improved our way of life.Only when some drunk ship captain hits a bridge , is there any problems.Accidents just don't happen to the extent that the environmental wack-jobs would like to make it out to be.Fossil fuels anen't going anywhere anytime soon,I don't care what liberals try. They managed to have most oilwells capped. We can't drill for oil in this country as we once could, even though we have cleaned up all of our past messes. In fact I believe our air and water is cleaner now than it has ever been. How about 60% of the country under snow and ice a couple, three wks ago? those folks needed heating oil, coal, wood to burn...whatever.where were the global warming folks?they weren't setting up solar powered heating ,wind powered anything or using algae power.Where was Michael Moore, Hillary Clinton??She helped women and children for 35 yrs.She sure as hell wasn't on MSNBC sharing how she went out in the neighborhoods who were without power for three frickin wks,and handed out food, clothing, heating supplies or anything else.no one did.those people helped each other and didn't wait on idiots from the gov't to rescue them.

Trucking is the weakest part of our nation
January 14, 2008 - 00:08 ET by Daniel BakerIf truckers went on strike or our roads were under attack many people would starve and start looting.
The nations that sell oil could just stop selling to us and cause the food to stop coming to the grocery stores.
US should be pumping tons of oil for our national security. We have hundreds of years of oil that we can't touch due to enviromentalists.
