OK NB Geniuses...need your suggestions

Finally....kicked the stupid Comcast morons from my domain.  We signed up for DishTV (safari so goody)....but, I have a question.

We have the record feature, now.  Is there any way to move the recorded stuff off the satellite box and onto a DVD?  Because I think that might be a fun thing to have accomplished once we move to Costa Rica.
