Obama's Constitution whopper
I had been hoping to get on this blog much earlier because this came up just a few days ago when McCain was on "The View".
Most of us remember when Whoopie Goldberg raised pompous "concerns" about being forced to become a slave once again due to the fact that McCain promised to appoint strict contrustionist judges to the Supreme Court and other posts.
Well, here is the capper regarding that whole issue.
A liberal friend of mine who has an insane man crush on Barack Obama dragged me to an event at Green Valley High School back in February.
(Thankfully this friend is English and as of yet cannot vote.)
I saw the great Messiah in person. He came 45 minutes late, gave one of his now well worn "Hope and Change" speeches, and then promptly fell apart when asked specific question in front of an obviously partisan pro Obama audience.
I saw the energy of the room slowly sink as he stumbled over each specific question. He never really had me to begin with, but he prompted my anger when he used the term "The Trickle Down didn't trickle."
No "Hope and Change" there, just more liberal Reagan Bashing.
The best part however was when a softball question about the Patriot Act was thrown his way. He had the opportunity to say something that would have thrilled the partisan crowd.
"Bush is a Nazi, the War on Terror is an illusion" you know, typical left wing stuff.
Nope. He said:
"I am a strict constructionist when it comes to the constitution."
I left the hall at that point. How stupid would I have to be to believe that Barry O was going to support the constitution and appoint constructionist judges when his thin but available resume suggests the polar opposite?
Ah, but now he has to answer to Woopie Goldberg.
Does Barack Obama want to send Whoopie back to the plantation? Does she need to "fear" him?
Is she willing to ask him where he stands on this issue?
Now the mic was on when this comment was made , and it seems to me that it must have been recorded.
Is there any way to research this particular event and get a recording of the comments made therein?
If so, his whopper about the constitution will be there, so you won't just have to take my word for it.
