The McCartney/Lennon DebateAm I crazy, or has the MSM politicized the Beatles? Everywhere I look in the MSM, I see cynical Lennon lionized, T-shirts and movies abound. So is the optimistic McCartney overlooked today in the MSM? How many movies have been made about the life of John Lennon? I've seen at least 4. McCartney, on the other hand, has not been so fortunate in the eyes of Hollywood. I see very little press in the MSM on the genius who still walks among us, Paul McCartney. Why? Because he writes fun, optimistic songs. And there is nothing that bores the left more than optimism.
