well not really a contest because their is no prize but I had a couple and I saw someone else give one earlier today so here's a place to keep them if you have one.
I wanted to congratulate you on your wisdom with that one.
I actually DO think you could have helped to push the idea forward. This IS a pretty major right-leaning blog site, read by a lot of big players, I'm sure.
I like #3... and another one:
McCain / Palin - Both short in stature, shorter on bloviating and platitudes.
Late Friday afternoon at work, I told my colleagues that I wish someone had a camera on Hillary's face when it was announced that Sarah Palin was McCain's running mate.
All of them agreed that would have been a treat to watch.
but ... I hate to admit it .... McCain is growing on me. I'm gaining new respect for him. I'll never love him but I'm becoming okay with him. I don't even feel like I have to hold my nose anymore and I'm actually going to volunteer for the campaign now I think.
Eisenhower would have puked on his shoes if the GOP had nominated a couple of stooges like Palin and McCain in his lifetime.
Believe it or not, the Republican Party wasn't always a tool of Big Oil and the billionaires who suck up most of the tax breaks that destroy schools and infrastructure that ordinary Americans depend on.
But now that the neo-cons own the GOP, it's better to be honest about what they stand for, so the most appropriate slogan for Palin and the twisted relic who used to be John McCain is...
