Gutless Republicans

Instead of everybody cowtowing to the race pimps like Jesse Jackson, why don't some of these spineless Republicans get out there and combat this idea that Bush was "slow to respond"? President Bush called Gov. Blanco and asked her to declare a mandatory evacuation, according to Mayor Nagin, she needed 24hrs to fashion a reply and they blame Bush for delays? She then did NOT issue a mandatory evacuation, she sat on her thumbs and "thought the city government was taking care of the evacuation", to quote this braindead woman. SHE HAS STILL REFUSED TO HAVE PEOPLE REMOVED FROM THEIR HOMES! Why you ask ladies and gents? RACISM. Pure and simple. No ones talking about the news footage aired on Fox during O'Reilly the other day, with a young white woman in the French Quarter who had banded together with other merchants in the area to fortify themselves against invaders. She stated that the police told them that they (the police) really didn't want "people like them", to evacuate. She then tried to clarify what she thought he meant by "people like them", she gestured with the broom she was sweeping with and said, "productive people". It seems to me that this White Democratic mayor was protecting the rich peoples property because she knew how a segment of her population would react. Looting, terrorizing, you know the deal. This is why she was dragging her feet, folks. I've often said that liberals are the biggest racists, brandishing the bigotry of low expectations like a knife. In this case it cost people their lives, all of those people that died in the Superdome or on the section of Highway highlit by Shepard Smith of Foxnews, died because of this Governors orders. Naturally when CYA mode is initiated, the supposedly neutral RedCross isn't going to lie for this Governor, so they are responding to the question of delay rather forcefully! The question is WHY AREN'T THE REPUBLICAN'S ANSWERING FORCEFULLY? The following was found on Redcross.Org. Under the "New Orleans Situation", section. Disaster FAQs Hurricane Katrina: Why is the Red Cross not in New Orleans? Acess to New Orleans is controlled by the National Guard and local authorities and while we are in constant contact with them, we simply cannot enter New Orleans against their orders. The state Homeland Security Department had requested--and continues to request--that the American Red Cross not come back into New Orleans following the hurricane. Our presence would keep people from evacuating and encourage others to come into the city. So according to the RedCross they had assembled their resources to feed all those poor black people, of which I am one by the way AND THEY WOULDN'T LET THE RED CROSS IN BECAUSE THEY DIDN 'T WANT THE "REFUGEES" TO STAY! Keep it moving black folk! This from your liberal democrats folks. AND THE REPUBLICANS ARE MUTE! They should be slapped silly for letting the President take all of this abuse and the culprit is the damned Governor! Futhermore, the STATE OF LOUISIANA'S WEBSITE backs up the fact that they never intended to provide services for those people. Public Shelter Information Shelters are operated by trained individuals and ensure that the safety, security, and basic needs of its residents are met. A. What to bring to a shelter Change of clothing, blanket and pillow for each family member Your disaster supply kit, including food, medications, comfort items and special items for infant or elderly family members. B. What NOT to bring There are no weapons, drugs, alcohol or pets (service animals excluded) allowed in shelters. So, if they never intended to feed the people and they told the people to BRING THEIR OWN FOOD and they went the extra mile of PREVENTING THE RED CROSS FROM BRINGING THE PEOPLE FOOD. Why the hell are these gutless wonders in Washington letting the President take all of this damned heat? Why are they allowing race pimps like Jesse Jackson to fill and refill his quiver with the poisionous arrows of racebaiting and division? I'm Black, I love Black people and for the life of me, I can't think of anything I've heard about this that should redound to Bush OR the Federal Government, not when the choice is taking over a state from a duly elected opposition party Governor. Please think on these things and stop all this madness!
