UPDATE: http://www.publiusforum.com/2010/03/22/civil-disobedience/ DISCUSS THE ACTION PLAN
----------------------------------------
If the ObamaCare bill manages to pass, how do we step up to the next level of expressing our discontent and opposition to this imposed Law? Obviously filling Washington, DC streets with protestors was not effective, neither was vocally opposing ObamaCare at Townhall meetings.
Will making legal challenges in Court be sufficient? Are we really confident to leave such matters to the Courts when in the past they have repeatedly failed the American People when it concerns the consent of the governed?
In preparation for the worst case scenerio, what acts of Civil Disobedience can those who participated in the Tea Party Movement do to turn back the tide of unwelcome and unwanted meddling by government?
Make your suggestions because if we don't have a plan, then those who are more emotionally engaged may give Obama and the liberals an excuse to impose more unlawful edicts with violent incidents.
One suggestion: Pick a day for a general strike, a national sick out day from work.
2nd suggestion: (Ghandi approach) Pick a day, a national road block. A pedestrian strike, when the track lights turn to allow walking in the crosswalk, laydown in the middle of the crosswalk and force the police to arrest you.
