Angela Lashley, the mother of a soldier with two tours of duty in Iraq With the 82nd Airborne, has co-written and recorded a song encouraging All soldier mom's to place a blue star in their window during the Holiday season. The song title, "Blue Star in the Window," refers to The long standing tradition of soldier mothers placing a blue star in Their window to honor their sons and daughters currently serving in
The United States military...

"This Christmas season, it is important to remember that many of our Sons and daughters from across the country are in harms way," said Lashley. "This song was my way of recognizing the heroic struggle of Soldier mom's and the heroic bravery of the American soldier."
At her website www.sobravesong.com, Lashley has also added the ability To download and print out a special Blue Star to put up in windows. The star can be personalized to honor the soldier mom's son or Daughter...
Lashley is also the co-writer of the song "So Brave," a tribute to her Son's' service and heroism. In the song, Lashley stated that her Christmas wish was that her son would return home safe. Last Christmas, she was granted her Christmas wish when her son Jonathan Returned home from Iraq in time for the holidays. This Christmas, Lashley is encouraging all Americans to remember the troops who are Serving in this time of war...
