I live in IL and will be voting for Romney. If you live in IL - vote early as ANOTHER snow storm is expected tomorrow night. Also don't forget that you can't just vote for the Presidential candidate, you have to vote for the delegate who pledges their votes to them or it won't count! IL is not winner take all so make your vote count!!!
GO ROMNEY!
Where does everyone else live and who are you voting for? Does your state have special rules?

Hi Dee
February 5, 2008 - 00:08 ET by BlondeI voted last week...the Florida results were very disappointing.
Of course, I live in hanging chad land (Broward County)....where Hillary had her Florida "victory" party. Sheesh!
Go Mitt....I hope you all do better than we did here.
I've come to the conclusion that the average (R) isn't a political junkie (like we are) and hasn't a clue about media bias....hence they "buy" what they hear on the news....McRino is the best candidate. Disgusting. But people are idiots.

Hi Blonde - you did your best - At least IL isn't winner take al
February 5, 2008 - 00:19 ET by Dee BunkMcCain and Romney were both here over the week-end. I couldn't go but Romney drew a big crowd. I just hope Romney voters know how to vote right because the Republican primary is a little confusing here. I hope the McCain people all get it wrong!
The local media here have been pushing McCain also. So he'll probably win, but we can still get some delegates
I am voting for Obama
February 5, 2008 - 00:08 ET by shawn228I live in Cali and I will vote for Obama. I would like to have a choice to vote for Romney or McCain, but the GOP is not interested in my vote. In CA you can only vote if you are a registered Republican. Independents and Dems are not allowed.
Can't we all get along?
Hi shawn - I like your new tag - that was one of my favorite

Dee,
February 5, 2008 - 01:07 ET by R D HelmJust heard on the radio that McClinton only has a one point lead in the polls here.
Keep you fingers crossed.

February 5, 2008 - 01:12 ET by Dee Bunkpolls is nothing. Call your friends (if they are voting for Romney) and remind them to vote.
Don't worry, Dee, I have been driving my friends nuts.
February 5, 2008 - 01:23 ET by R D HelmNow I have to go out and engage in a little nocturnal sabotage, as there are a few McCain yard signs around here whose owners will need air for their automobile tires in the morning. Lol.

PA Has to Wait, but it could be interesting by then
February 5, 2008 - 00:43 ET by PSPCplI can't vote for a man that took reduced my First Amendment freedoms, and has said that he would reduce my 2nd as well. Look up RINO in the dictionary and find a picture of Senator McCain. McCain has no executive branch experience. McCain has no real experience in economic matters. I respect him for his military service, but that doesn't make him strong on military or international issues. He is typical of the old Republican blue bloods who never wanted to kick up a fuss when it came time to really put up a fight against the Dems: he has been rewarded for his cowardice through the MSM and Dems supporting his continued re-election to the Senate.
PA doesn't vote on Tuesday, but I am urging those of you who are voting on Tuesday to vote for Governor Romney. He may not be Reagan, but he is much closer than Senator McCain ever will be.
PSP - Romney will still be there and need your vote after Tues.

Will there be a Super Tuesday Live Chat?

Unfortunately this is a blue state and Romney shows up third in the polls, so it doesn't look too hot for me.

Candace - Dang! - Isn't MN a caucus state? Are they winner take
February 5, 2008 - 01:02 ET by Dee Bunkall? If they are not winner take all then there is still hope. If it's a caucus, maybe people will talk some sense into the McCain and Huck voters.
well Dee
February 5, 2008 - 01:14 ET by candanceIt is a caucus and I have the address of where to go tomorrow. Jason Lewis (the radio guy who filled in for Rush on Friday) has his own show up here and has been hammering McCain all week.
However, our governor is a big rino who endorsed McCain and rumor has it he might be offered something in McCain's cabinet.
The state of MN, under a Republican governor, is currently working a global warming plan that involves forcing people to live in cities and limiting the miles you can drive. I am not even kidding. That is the the future of the GOP.
Winning the war in Iraq for the pleasure of becomming a 3rd world country. That's what we get with rinos.
Romney - Another Flip Flop
February 5, 2008 - 01:14 ET by Cool ArrowWhat with all the talk about "Sucker Veterans" I guess this deserves absolutely zero attention. I mean what the heck, at least he's not McCain or Huckabee.
May 2, 1994. Boston Globe Mitt Romney “I was not planning on signing up for the military. It was not my desire to go off and serve in Vietnam,”
Jan 30, 2008 GOP Debate Mitt Romney “one of the two great regrets I have in life is I didn’t serve in the military. I’d love to have.”
Most of us (Veterans) respect whichever side of the divide one was on during Vietnam, but it's another thing entirely when a political figure changes his own retrospective on that war to pander politically.
The list keeps growing, and Republicans keep eating it up.

um, okay
February 5, 2008 - 01:18 ET by candance1) A man is not allowed to change his mind after 14 years?
2) McCain changes his mind on a daily basis and that's supposed to be the same?
3) Without you bothering to answer Dee's question I guess we can infer the answer anyway?
No candance
February 5, 2008 - 01:28 ET by Cool ArrowI'd rather you infer nothing except it is my opinion Romney gets a free pass around here because he says he's more conservative than the rest.
I agree, McCain changing his retrospective is exactly the same.
Romney's a RINO, and most Conservatives (including myself) have pretty much decided to settle for him. But it can be argued Romney goes through a lot of "just in time" epiphanies.

hey cool
February 5, 2008 - 01:38 ET by candanceSorry if my answer came out a little terse - it's been a long week and I haven't been sleeping well.
I do agree that Romney is the Plan B candidate who has some serious flaws. But he's inside the comfort zone of whom I'd be willing to vote for while McCain is not - and supporting him during the primary is my attempt to "stick it" to McCain.
I am still undecided re: the general election, assuming McCain wins. I really liked Tancredo. Hunter too until he endorsed Huck - now he's on my naughty list. I was never really sold on Fred all the way.
Thus my write-in choice is still up for grabs.
candance
February 5, 2008 - 01:43 ET by Cool ArrowMy frustration is that all we have left is Romney.
I'll vote for him, but I'll do it with eyes open. We're voting on the basis of "at least he's not . . ." rather than "Now there's a Candidate!"

agreed cool
February 5, 2008 - 01:53 ET by candanceI agree with your sentiment.
