After Climategate, can we believe anything that government, media and our universities say?
Speaking for myself, it has always been obvious that man-made global warming was a hoax.
Commonsense, personal experience and high school science are in direct opposition to what the government, media and universities have been saying about global warming. For example:
Warmer temperatures and more CO2 is beneficial to plants which produce food and oxygen. More food and oxygen is beneficial to all mammals including human beings.
Polar bear populations are on the increasing dramatically, yet the government put polar bears on the "threatened species" list.
I am 53 years old and I have not noticed any discernible change in the climate where I have lived in my lifetime.
The Earth's climate has always be in a state of flux. Greenland was suitable for agriculture not-so-long ago and today it is frozen. In the 1970's, scientists were warning about the dangers of global cooling, then they changed to warning about global warming when the trend shifted.
Scientists warned that global warming was the cause of hurricane Katrina and predicted that we would experience horrific hurricanes in the following years due to global warming. The years after Katrina turned out to be the mildest hurricane seasons on record.
Now I am very skeptical about the swine-flu scare. I no longer can believe what is touted as scientific fact by our government, universities and media.
It is also frightening that the government, the universities and the media are systematically removing faith in God from today's generation, while they are promoting values in opposition to the Judea-Christian ethic.
Government, the universities and the media are also opposing the principles that our nation was founded upon. These are the principles that led the US to become the freest, wealthiest and most benevolently powerful nation that this world has ever seen.
