Yahoo pissing me off.

I must say Yahoo is pissing me off. Sunday they ran the "news story" saying the Iraq war is all about oil. Currently they have the headline

5 years after Iraq's 'liberation,' there are worms in the water

Nice how they had to put liberation in quotes isn;t it?

I would leave if I were him. I am always a bit puzzled why so many people in the media, and yes I consider Yahoo part of the media are liberal and so few are conservative. Is theer an alien group that goes around to maternity wards and installs a chip??? I just don't know.

this as my homepage you get to choose your news links provider, search provider, etc. Of course my page is much cooler than the generic one linked ; ) (the only downside is only 125MB e-mail storage) (but then i have other e-mail places)

Yeah, the idiotic news headlines made me switch to MyWay. I still keep Yahoo e-mail, but I run it through Thunderbird with YPops so I don't have to read their liberal bs.

Anyway, I heard Yahoo ran a photo of some wanteds-by-the-Chinese-government on Saturday in China. I don't know if it's true, but I wouldn't put it passed them. Anyway, Yahoo came out and made some statement to the effect that they are all about free speech and access to the Internet. Sorry, not buying it. The bastards are all about the bottom line and their stupid liberal fetishes - which have little to do with free speech or human rights, IMO.

Yahoo! has been a lefty company since its inception and has always promoted liberal viewpoints on its news page. Moreover, when you try to customize My Yahoo! to get your daily news, they don't even list conservative writers in the options.

Not much you can do though: Google is just as bad if not worse.
