Voice of The People
The following is a letter from Matthew in Scottsdale, AZ to the democrats in the Senate. It touches not only on some key current issues and national concerns, but it embodies many of the frustrations felt collectively by the American people. Matthew defines himself as an Independent. The message was sent to all democrat Senators via http://www.emailsenators.com.
"I have a quick question for you guys. I am considering supporting this universal health care, but I have a suggestion:
How about you stop the malpractice claims that are fraudulent, so the doctors do not have to pay tens of thousands of dollars in insurance, to protect from lawyers making millions of dollars, then go into politics with all that money they made off of scamming doctors. Who in turn have to raise their rates to afford the malpractice insurance, for the next time the next crooked lawyer, soon to be politician, finds one fault, and sues him for millions again. Instead of lowering the cost of insurance, lower the cost of malpractice insurance, so the doctors can afford their practice, and KEEP THEIR RATES LOW FOR THE CUSTOMERS THEY TREAT. Oh but no, lets all wait months for a doctor visit that needs to be done as soon as possible. Look at Britain, Canada, and other places with this health care system. The citizens can not get the health care they need immediately.
I really want you guys to help explain this to me, but then again, I know you guys do not care about small citizens like myself, to even take 2 minutes to answer questions. I am not conservative, I am appalled at the conservatives as well. I just want honesty from you guys, but all I see is lies. And the worst part, this is not the first time I have tried to get an answer. Yet, you guys just ignore me, because you are too important to answer questions for the people who elected you. Good job in ruining this country, and losing the faith of the citizens who elected you."
