His ideas include more taxin' and more spending than even Slick Willie wanted! I want SMALLER government in fact, not just in rhetoric from Republicans around election-time for once, which is why I'm so-glad we found that video! :) Plus (and I used to hate hearing this early in the campaign about Ron Paul, so I must say it) Tax Hike Mike can't win, because he doesn't have the money. If you really like Tax Hike Mike, pull out that checkbook or credit card and get over to his website, yesterday!

I'd still vote for him. I think he can be educated on the tax thing. He learned his lesson about carrying those extra 100 lbs. Maybe even Leon will vote for him.
My bet is "Tax Hike Mike" will outlast "Chicken Run Ron."
Implies you've done as I suggested and pulled out your wallet. Good for you. Huckabee needs followers as loyal and willing to work as this guy, and ANY relative-non-RINO is better than Rudy for me at this point. I wonder how bad/good Huckabee is on guns? I suspect he's a tobacco prohibitionist, which is another strike against him if I'm right.

I think he'd buckle on a tobacco tax, just from his ability to break the addiction of food.
I quit smoking last year when Texas added $1 per pack. Decided it was just another "poor tax" like the lottery. Sure, I buy a lottery ticket when it gets over $50 million, but you won't find me holding up the convenience store line paying for food with my Lone Star Card and digging for cash for my scratchoffs.
On Guns Mike is solidly behind the fact the 2nd Amendment refers also to the Citizens' duty to stand up against oppressive government.

November 14, 2007 - 02:09 ET by Cool ArrowI'll take Mike over the rest of the field. He's out there standing firm on his ideas much the same as only one other candidate is.
Maybe they both are nuts, but I agree more with Huckabee than Ron Paul.
The problem is...

Funny Ron Paul story
November 14, 2007 - 03:20 ET by mastersofdeceitToday at work (a Large Financial Corporation) our e-fax inbox was spammed w/ the subj. line "Ron Paul".
The person who saw it said something like " what is this? keep your political opinions to yourself."
The guy in the next desk over said " Who's Ron Paul? "
Did you find the perp(s)?
November 14, 2007 - 06:05 ET by sarcasmoAnd if not, might you consider the idea that not all "supporters" are supporters??
