Did some research, because the msm is not reporting casualties from the Iraq war very often. Seems that casualties of our finest in the past 5 months have dropped about 50%, 130 in May to 68 in September. The high numbers in May and April(117) were a result of the surge and the consequent routing of the enemy. Then the casualties began to wane.

I also went to Wikipedia for surge info and found that sociolinguist, Prof Lakoff of the Rockridge Institute allowed the word surge was applied by the WH to give a positve spin to something that was doomed to fail, even though surge is exactly the term used to militarily define what the strategy intended.

Lakoff's comments were obviously inserted as is the case with this site.

The msm has shifted from the constant barrage of death info to Rush, etc. because they must realize they have lost footing with this attack on conservatism(the WOT) and need to rally their base for their party!
