Its not that they are completely unchallenged...

 It's not that they are completely unchallenged Aquapub, it's just that those who disagree in any way, shape or form with this administration are treated like UFO witnesses.  They are ridiculed, marginalized and dismissed as fools.  The White House's attacks on Fox News are intended as attacks on the 'people' who watch Fox News by painting them all as idiots and worse!!
