New Health bill extends wage tax to investments

"WASHINGTON - High-income families would be hit with a tax increase on wages and a new levy on investments under President Barack Obama's health care overhaul bill. For the first time, the Medicare payroll tax would be applied to investment income, beginning in 2013. A new 3.8 percent tax would be imposed on interest, dividends, capital gains and other investment income for individuals making more than $200,000 a year and couples making more than $250,000. The bill also would increase the Medicare payroll tax by 0.9 percentage point to 2.35 percent on wages above $200,000 for individuals and $250,000 for married couples filing jointly."

Nothing beats socialistic health care reforms where the rich and hardworking pay for health care for all.

let us remember the facts

18 million 19-29 year olds make over $50,000 and choose not to have Health care.  but under Obama they can stay on their parents health care until 26.

14 million are to poor to buy their own health care so the Government supplies it for them.  they are the biggest mouths wanting free health care they already have. go figure?

10 million are illegally in the States and dare not take health care for fear of getting caught for being here illegally and kicked out. which they should. It is because of them more black Americans are out of work and that because they work harder and cheaper.

5 Million middle class American who really need health care cannot get it because their Employers can't afford to supply for them do to premiums and it takes to much out of their take home pay to justify buying.  These are the ones who really need it.  And it will be these one under the current plan who will pay full price for it.

The over $250,000 a year people are just their to finance medicaid and medicare but not the middle class who need it.

This is true Socialism American Style
