Political Candidates Voice Their Platform on New Web Site Hear what they have to say on Voice for Votes. Voice for Votes is a service candidates are using to reach out to voters through the internet utilizing audio on demand technology, while the Voice for Votes project is not associated with any political party or special interest group,  their goal is to bring forward important, unbiased information that American voters can access during election periods.  This service is not intended to compete with existing mass media outlets, but rather to provide convenient access to all levels of public elections and their participating candidates.  The service gives candidates the opportunity to create a number of key questions that they feel are particularly relevant to their respective platforms.  The questions and answers are recorded in an interview format, for inclusion on the Voice for Votes site. Voters or prospective voters will be able to visit the free Voice for Votes web site, where they can select the state and the level of government in which they have an interest.  For example, this year the local elections in Connecticut will be featured.  A comprehensive list of towns and cities will be displayed. Currently the site features the Mayors race in New Britain with State rep Tim O’Brien (D), New Haven with Angela Watley (I) and Mayor John DeStefano (D) , Norwalk with Mayor Richard Moccia (R) and challenger Steven Serasis (D), Norwich with Robert Zarnetske of the Norwich for Change Party along with Peter Nystrom (R)  and Stamford’s battle for its Mayors seat held by Mayor Dan Malloy (D) moving on to run for Governor in 2010. The Mayors seat in Stanford is sought by David Martin (D) and Mike Pavia (R). More races are being added in the State and others, such as in New York and New Jersey. The site will be updated constantly as those with active elections will be highlighted, otherwise links will be directed to the home pages of participating municipalities.  Clicking on a candidate’s section will bring you to his or her page where you can hear the recorded Q&A interview for each question to better understand what that candidate stands for. Voice for Votes is a service created by Rick Bloeser and Next Level Media Company LLC, located in Mystic, Connecticut.  The company was formed in 2007 to create and provide informational services utilizing audio on demand technology on the web, Next year the site aims to feature all fifty states highlighting State level and Federal elections. In 2011 most cities and towns through out the US.
