A perfect example of prolonging the Crisis at any cost
The WH Administration announced yesterday a new Naval officer as the Czar of the oil fiasco in the gulf.
but it seems the Coast guard (under Obama) is hindering the efforts of LA to clean up the mess before it causes any more destruction on beaches and wetlands.
Coast Guard officials gave this order to oil sucking barges to 'Cease and desist. Stop sucking up that oil.'" How's that for an Administration who has been on top of the Oil crisis since day one?
These barges should have been given the go ahead 56 days ago. But our current WH Administration wants to exploit every crisis it can.
BP had an accident the Government should have been there to help but they have been there (or not been there) since day one not helping but putting up road blocks to BP and others to help get this thing under control.
How did every fail safe on the BP rig fail all at once?
Seems the theory is that someone made this happen to allow for problems to arise in multiple areas. Relationship with England is hurt, Eco-environments are hurt, now special regulation and Government controls are voted in, and most of all the whole thing has been prolonged and Media focus on it while the slight of hand moves of Congress to pass all sorts of anit-American bills, taxes and other garbage bills are being pressed through Congress without even a blink of the American Eye.
"It's like this huge committee down there," Riley said, "and every decision that we try to implement, any one person on that committee has absolute veto power."
Get rid of the Czars let each State implement its own initiatives to cleaning up the Oil and let them deal individually with BP to reimburse them for the costs. the $20 Billion escrow account does nothing but make money for the feds as they will prolong its implantation to make interest on the account at BP and the Taxpayers cost.
Get the Admin out of the gulf and let BP and the States deal with it. And as for the Coast Guard. Back off stop prolonging the crisis for your "Crisis in Chief"
