You know, as much as I am against this (I work for an oil company), do you blame them?
It seems that the "conservative" policies of Bush are saying "Hey, the republican party and its system doesn't work...maybe the Dem system does!"
Of course, the Dem system doesn't work either, but for the past 8 years the Repubs have been failing, not the Dems. This is a "hey if one side of a 2 party system is failing us, the other side must succeed!" argument.
Unfortunately, Bush and his appointed henchmen have given our party a bad name.
For over 30 years the leftists, plus their backers the leftist greenies and some RINOs have stopped us from self-dependency here with our own oil, let alone the jobs it would entail.
This is exactly what the communistic greenies have worked on forever when it comes to every thing in this country, they do the same with lumber, mining, I could go on and on...I hope there comes a day when the EPA, the environmentalist all connected have to start paying out the nose for all the damage they have done to our country over the years, they have destroyed so much of our economy, their constant law-suits ect...they never have to pay a dime as others lose everything...including private property rights....
The congress can go to hell with people like Maxine Waters who let slip what they are really after...Chavez style.
Get a grip...I hope people across this land speak out at the polling booths this Nov. I have waited for years for this to happen...I knew it never would until it ht their pocket-books...now when they vote, if they would just pay the hell attention to who and what they are voting for, this country will mend, with time.

I agree about getting hit in the pocket-book is a great attention getter. I tell people that maybe next time they should know something about the person that they are voting for. Ignorance is bliss but can also be costly.
