Realistically, what are the differences between Obama and McCain? They both supported the $700 billion bailout, and now we get this plan from McCain. (You might expect a plan like this from Obama, but oddly enough he opposes it.) After all this, they both claim to want to lower your taxes. How in the hell can you increase spending by a trillion dollars, on top of our current half trillion dollar annual deficit, and lower taxes? Print like mad? Well, devaluing your savings by ten percent a year with inflation is a tax as well! You are going to have to earn a pretty healthy return on your money to stay ahead of that.
Where are we in this country when Democrats and Republicans alike want to give away our money, and in ever-increasing amounts?
