Bobby Jindal has a great political future, but I'd like to see him win another term as governor before considering him presidential material, as with Sarah Palin.
(I must break ranks with NB and say that I HAVE to vote McCain. As much as I don't care for him, I will not abide Socialism.)
there are many here who will vote for McCain (fighting the gag reflex the whole way) since our children and grandchildren can-not/should-not pay the price for an Obama POTUS with Obama SCOTUS picks.

My sentiments exactly, by the way. I'm not in the crowd that thinks we need another Carter in order to get a conservative candidate to our liking. I will not have a Socialist in the White House if I can help it!
I agree. Jindal would more than likely nominate constructionist judges, but it is probably premature to be talking Jindal for POTUS.

I don't want Jindal to run for anything but La Governor for a while. The heck with the rest of you, we want him to stay here too keep the BS to a minimum. I am one of his biggset supporters and about the only thing he could do to disappoint me would be to leave before 8yrs or so.
Better fits his man Romney, at least for those of us who don't trust his shifting opinions. Even I like Sarah Palin, she seems to be capable of spending less...

Palin is an okay RINO and would fit well with McCain. Thompson could of had a nice career in the senate but he became too lazy and quit.
