Iowa governor's wife violates smoking ban

In an arrogant display of "Do as we say, not as we do" liberal legislation, Iowa governor Chet Culver's (D) wife was caught puffing on a cigarette in a state owned vehicle, driven by a state trooper no less! This is delicious for many reasons, one being that the governor himself signed the legislation among much pomp and circumstance. Another being the fact that the bill originated as an attempt to return local control to businesses, then became a liberal power grab from small business owners. And yet a 3rd, as icing on the cake perhaps, this news breaks on the day of the "Great American Smokeout".

 I'm sure governor Culver had no idea that his wife was doing this, and that she will take the high road and pay the fine, right?

No, but she's sorry.
