How many people know that Barack Obama is the FIRST black man ever elected to the U.S. Senate by Democrats? Only Democrats, through the party's media monopoly, could pass off Obama as a black man when he was raised in Indonesia -- that hot bed of the African American experience -- by a white mother and Arab Muslim dad. (BO's mom had sex with a Nigerian in Hawaii and that's his black heritage.)
It's likely that many people believe that Democrats have elected many blacks, but that's not the case. Democrats were the Confederacy and Klan and today Democrats write our history books and control what we see and read in our media so many people are ignorant about how Democrats whitewash the party's hate-filled and murderous past.
Given the background of Democrats, I guess Obama is exactly the kind of "black" man they like -- and the only type of "black" man the party will consider for a position of such power. So voting for Obama is actually anti-black, especially the way most liberal agonize over race, gender, etc.
Race- and gender-based "hiring quotas" allow Democrats to act as gatekeepers. Civil-rights quotas are used deceptively to place select minorities -- often those steeped in Marxist-based beliefs -- in positions of influence in government, on university and foundation boards, and more. Of course, a few non-Marxists slip through but that's the price Democrats are willing to pay.
Democratic leaders today still don't trust or like blacks. So they are found a new way to segregate them and to take away the black vote by controlling urban areas and allowing no other political party to gain a foothold -- the same thing Democrats did in the South for more than 150 years.
The Democrats like to say that people like Clarence Thomas benefited from the Democrats' civil rights but we all know that Thomas would be lucky to graduate middle school today in urban areas under the control of Democrats.
Also, Republicans passed most civil-rights measures. LBJ was forced to sign the civil rights act after Republicans forced it through Congress. (Sen. Al Gore Sr. -- Al's dad -- voted against it, and so did Bill Clinton's mentor, Sen. William Fulbright). So now Democrats just stick it to us for wanting blacks to have civil rights. The party's ultimate spite to-date is running a white Muslim man for president who pretends to be black and American!

All this said, and my defense of his character aside, I'm not a particular fan of his politics. However, something I'm even more disliking of is spin. The conservative side of politics takes this left-sympathetic liberal, and builds him as this evil entity who's going to tax everyone and then blow it all on welfare jobbers. This is alarmism at its worst point. I find it funny how some of us point out (and rightly so) the alarmism from the left with republicans and conservatives, especially ones who appeal to the middle, yet are blind to the biases of our own camp. Sure, we're less so, but it doesn't mean we aren't at all.
The mainstream media loves Obama because they have to. If Hillary goes down, Obama is the guy for the democrats. The MSM wants to be riding the coattails of the winner before its decided so better to spin it to look like they 'knew all along' and falsely building trust of the people in them. *However,* because he's a liberal *and* the media loves him, of course conservatives are going to poke holes in him, that's politics. However, we must be honest with fact and speculation, and the stark line that separates the two.
If you haven't read his books, been to his speeches, and followed him from an objective viewpoint, then you probably don't know enough to honestly critique the man. That said, it is true, make no mistake, that he is a liberal. He believes the people should help raise up the people, not the specific persons raise themselves up all by their lonesome. I've always been keen on the idea of the latter merely because it represents my viewpoints of freedom and people minding their own lives and leaving mine well alone.
As for the comment, I said Obama's father was the Atheist, not Obama. Obama's father *was* a Muslim and is *now* an atheist, so its more or less the reverse of what you are claiming. Obama even mentions that the strict, strong, iron-fisted position that Islam took on many issues of personal freedom was one of the many reasons his father abandoned the religion.
I agree, there *is* plenty of issues to nail Obama on if you are comming from a strict social and fiscal POV. My comment was to focus on *those* issues. Not speculation. Obama never was, nor seems to desire to ever be a muslim or a participant of the religion. He identifies as a Christian American.
In closing, as I said before, the previous statements were false and assuming where there was neither room nor reason to assume aside from blind attacking of character in hopes that the uneducated masses will bite that bait.
If you want to know the answers, read his book, listen to the man. Otherwise just keep thinking what you will and believing whatever keeps you happy.

Basically what I meant is, Obama does have some very strongly left views and answers to certain issues, but he's a heck of alot more open to bipartisan ship, working toward a common ground, and being open to the idea that he doesn't always have the right answer. In a world where 99.9% of liberal politicians have a 'my way, my way now!' attitude, Obama is more of an 'adult' it would seem when it comes to compromise. I just think he's painted with the same wide brush all libs are painted with, and yes, most of the time they do deserve it, however, when you scratch the surface, there are definately some things to like about the guy, even if you're a conservative.

Fact: Obama is not, nor ever was a muslim. He did attend a Muslim school. Which begs the question......are all Catholic School students devout Catholics? Or is it sometimes just a matter of parental preference or geographical necessity? (meaning it was the best school available in the area)
Obama takes great measure to explain that he not only believes, but was raised to believe that it is not persay the spiritual growth at these schools that is the goal, but rather the actual education in your schooling.
Again though, its easy to just rip him apart based off of the good ol' 'he said/she said' garbage that both sides do to one another. I say, stay objective. If you want to know more about him, look up multiple sources, check cited sources when reading your news. And for the LOVE of GOD, avoid sites that smell of *any* bias when looking for news. Since that is da*n near impossible, you must look and read from both sides. Otherwise, you're setting yourself up for bias, no matter how objective you strive to be.

This is the link Paw speaks about. What he *doesn't* mention is how that intial email supports no evidence to its claim, but the rebuttal typed below it not only outlines the lies and deceit in that email blast, but *gasp* actually provides evidence and proof to its contrary! Go figure!
Gotta hate them facts, they really ruin a good ol' political beatdown. I'm just hoping that this email came from the HRC camp, I just don't like the idea that conservatives are playing the dirty 'make up facts as we go' game. I don't mind if you dislike the man's policies, I'm not a big fan of many of them, but for the love of Pete, keep it fair and focus on the issues and do not speculate or claim certain truths that are based off of a slanderous and 100% false email that is floating around about the man.
Keep it real, as they say. Stick to facts and leave your own biases at the door. I promise you they will be there waiting for you when you leave so no worries. :-P
