I'm wondering what exactly is your bone to pick...
March 31, 2008 - 15:01 ET by BinxlySeriously TP, I admit, if this is the case here, it's sad that our own people would do such a thing. That said, I notice that most of your contribution here is primarily regarding matters in which you feel our own people and Government are out to destroy themselves (ie the US of A.)
I won't go into how foolhardy such a belief is, but instead, in hopes to bridge the gap of understanding, and hoping to better understand why you feel as you do, what exactly is the beef you have with the USA that is brewing under the surface with you?
I admit, I am also a hot button on alot of issues, primarily social issues in regards to sex, gender, and sexual preference. I admit, my close friendship with many homosexuals and a transexual and a couple of other gender confused people is the 'fuel to my debate fire' when it comes to such issues. However, I want to know what is YOUR fuel deep under the surface that makes you *SO SURE* almost to the point of HOPING that our nation is in a state of self-sabotage and desires only to hinder and even KILL its own people...
So TP, I gotta ask, what's the beef my friend?
That said, this particular instance, no one claimed Al Queda broke into the Fort. They did insinuate terrorism was the most probable cause, but in the times we lived in then, and now, it's a valid assumption. That said though, we never believed the terrorists had ties or access to the Fort or that they somehow procured it from the Fort. Also, if these scientists are guilty, I hope they are punished to the maximum. What happened in that scenario was deplorable on any and all levels. Also, if indeed these scientists were at fault, and did knowingly, they would be defacto terrorists. The act itself is an act of terrorism, no matter under what banner or lack thereof that the attack was perpetuated under.
I am not saying we should NEVER be weary of our Government, for goodness sake Im a libertarian who's lost all but complete faith in both governing parties and believes my government should be in constant fear of me and her people, not vice versa. That said however, there is no fire in this story, not even an ounce of smoke. This is why I want to know what your beef is. There's something MUCH MUCH deeper here. You are cherry picking news stories and presenting them as something completely irrelevant to the points you are making.
Believe it or not, Im not trying to tear you down, I am merely telling you how this comes off to even the most sympathetic to your views. I want to know what's the real story here, please TP, Indulge me. (no sarcasm intended if it's read as such)
Wow, I don't even know
April 1, 2008 - 16:29 ET by ThoughtPoliceWow, I don't even know where to begin. You say your a libertarian? I find that hard to believe.
For the past two years I've been on here talking about 9/11 being an inside job, the anthrax attacks being an inside job, Nafta super highway, and the NAU.
Now that the NAU/superhighway are exposed with credibile evidence, no one can argue it.
Now that 3/4 "terror" suspects are home grown, no one can argue it.
I have been "laughed" at on this site time and time again for not having credible evidence or using "bogus" websites. Apparently I have been right about everything and everyone else wrong.
At the Republican convention in SD7 (the biggest district in Texas) where I was a deligate, there were 2-3 resolutions dealing with the NAU and American sovereignty. The People of Texas DO NOT want a NAU or a Superhighway. If you listen to someone like Insane, he'll make you believe that these things don't exist, or if they do not to worry.
My point is this: If the antrax attack came from inside the U.S. why? Why was it sent to those who voted against the patriot act? Why would a scientist send anthrax to a senator? These are questions that must be asked AND answered if we want to know the truth.
As I told another NB'er, you can either believe a gov't that has lied time and time again, or you can believe citizens who tell the truth. I will feel no empathy for you the day you realize what a mistake you made not being active with 9/11.
TP, I'm a Libertarian
April 2, 2008 - 13:58 ET by BinxlyTP, I'm a Libertarian whether you believe it or not. What you are saying is that because I, like Dr. Paul, DO NOT believe 9/11 was an inside job, I must not be 'credible' as a Libertarian. Well, I guess someone should tell the Libertarian party who supported and still supports him and also tell about more than the majority of Libertarians out there that they need to change parties.
Fact: 9/11 was not orchestrated by my Government, and also, you've still yet to answer my question. I agree, the NAU is a joke, and as oblivious as the general population is to such matters, or even politics in general, they are still mindful enough to NEVER let that happen. You speak as if we live in an authoritarian nation, however, much as you might think so, we do not. You all decry Bush's low approval rating as 'proof' the American people do not want him as President. However, he won fair and square both elections (even tho cry-baby Al did his best to waste YOUR money on extending that election, yet I rarely hear truthers who bitch about Iraq costing an arm and leg, yet never complain when liberals waste their money on that kinda crap.)
Truth be told, you can spin anything these days, and often times people are lead to believe by the MSM that a low approval rating is a sign that the nation doesn't want their current leader anymore. The fact is, in 04 the Dem's had the PERFECT opportunity to bring up someone worth voting for to go against GW. They gave the liberals John Kerry. Seriously, that's like bringing a super soaker to a heavy live fire fight. As for the rest of the administration, I certainly do not agree with alot of what they do, but that does not change that I still truely believe GW to be better than ANY candidate the dems have provided in many many years.
My point here is, WE, the nation of America, appointed our leaders. Our voice IS heard. However, when one rants and raves about issues and makes gross claims that cannot be supported by evidence, or the evidence is debunked quite easily (as pretty much ANY argument a truther provides for 9/11 being an inside job) its no surprise if people put on the ear muffs when you get back on the soap box to rave further about how the government is out to get you.
Are there problems in America? Definately. There are solutions though, and while they are counter to how things are run now, it doesnt mean our current administration isnt also doing alot of things CORRECTLY (blame the MSM for never reporting things like GW being the the most influential American President in battling the AIDS epidemic in Africa.)
In closing, I find it insanely weak and equally oxymoronic that you would question my party loyalty because I don't *totally* agree with everything others in my party believe. If that was how we ran our system, everyone would have their very own party. My advice to you is to stop worrying about non-existent conspiracies, and focus on something where your energy is useful and creates actual progress.
By the way, I'm still waiting on your explaination of why you think the US is hiding under your bed at night, waiting to *get you.*
:-P

Again, misrepresenting
April 3, 2008 - 09:48 ET by BinxlyAgain, misrepresenting someone's words through twisted context. he said the questions of 9-11 have not been answered enough to his liking. I agree with that much, I think we should be looking at it closer and investigating, if anything to better understand just how the terrorists pulled this off, and of course, to put your truther's suspicions to bed finally. However, Im pretty sure alot of the truthers WANT to believe the government did this, and will continue to do so, even if un refutable evidence contrary was presented. Also, simply because he wants more answers does NOT equate to he believes it was an inside job or thinks you truthers are any less crazy than I do. Thats what you all tried doing to Dr. Paul. People wanting answers does not mean they feel its a conspiracy nor does it mean they think the government did it, it means they want more information to better understand HOW and WHY the terrorists did it. However, much like the left, someone says something like 'I have more questions...' and you all take it and run with it as *irrefutable PROOF* they are in your camp. Sorry, they are not, try again, I hear Al Franken is available.
Also, still haven't answered my question..... I find that odd for someone who wants the government to answer every question you have (and I think they should) yet you can't even answer a simple easy question.....I'm smelling a dodge here. And not a Durango either :-P
Binxley, you are a 'tard.
April 3, 2008 - 12:05 ET by ThoughtPoliceBinxley, you are a 'tard. Everything you say sounds like a lunatic.
Uh, did you listen to the 20 minute interview that was on the same page? Cause if you did you obviously didn't hear him say that WTC 1, 2 AND 3 were ALL controlled demolition.
Take a listen then get back to me. I don't misrepresent anyone.
Conspiros strike again
April 3, 2008 - 01:03 ET by UnsaneThe People of Texas DO NOT want a NAU or a Superhighway. Two way to look at this: 1) Wow, TP! YOU speak for TWENTY-FIVE MILLION people??? 2) No Superhighway for TX, huh? I'm sure the people in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, Lubbock, and Amarillo (among others) will appreciate that. I take it you do not drive on ANY Interstate highways at all? If you listen to someone like Insane, he'll make you believe that these things don't exist well, the NAU doesn't exist. Sorry. SPP or no. (I still laugh at just how much POWER is ascribed to this stupid talk-shop. The OAS has been arond MUCH longer and is more powerful, yet there is nothing about a hemispheric hyper-state, is there?) Those who insist on this conspiracy is clearly an extremely poor student of the HISTORY and CULTURE of all three nations involved. Stick to whacked out conspiracies like this Fort Detrick one. Once you step beyond America's borders you are biting off more than you can chew. Right? Canada can barely hang on to Quebec, but I am supposed to believe that they will magically just merge with the United States. Mexico's southern reaches have more in common with Central America, and its center is embarrassed and ashamed to be attached to the rest of Mexico, yet they are going to magically merge with a nation that they are weary of. OK, whatever., or if they do not to worry because sure, I know all about I-69, and I have issues of my own with it...but I never thought of it to be the locus of all the world's evil like you Conspiros routinely do.

April 3, 2008 - 03:16 ET by mastersofdeceitHey bt,
It's actually through the AP but I happend to catch it there. Probably just a joke but I'll look around for any follow up.
Hey did you hear they might drill for oil again in Whittier (turnbull canyon area) ?
Uh-oh "natural concerns" raises' it's head again.
Howdy mod...long time no
April 3, 2008 - 03:33 ET by bigtimerHowdy mod...long time no connect...lol.
When it comes to Whittier I do not doubt their work...not anymore in the little least compared to the other rags...and no I didn't hear about the drilling in the area you are speaking of...this will be stopped if able....adn unfortunately, especially in Ca. it will be....oh the misery these critters cause...I wished people knew in so many areas what they have done to other businesses, therefore the economy for years the greenies and trial lawyers have destroyed...I'm so tired of these people, I have shed many tears watching them destroy once growing prosperous communities that thrived and survived on the natural products every single one of us everyday across every area of this nation use in their lives...I just shake my at times...a wake up call and a big one is coming down the road...in more ways than one.
I have to have patience I suppose, unfortunately the cost to many of us has been too little too late.
The leftists in all areas, especially the govt. leading the way have been the enemy to me, including some RINOs that have been our pain in the arse for progress with prosperity and self-depedency...worrisome more than ever to me at this time in our lives with the candidates we have to choose from now.
