From my friend Sharon.

Dear friend of the Advocates,
Yesterday the liberal organization MoveOn. was denounced by the U.S. Senate and
called "disgusting" by President Bush, because of their controversial ad
campaign criticizing the War In Iraq.
The result: MoveOn was flooded with donations! In fact, they received over
$500,000 in a single day -- and the money is still pouring in.
Quite frankly, that made me wish that the U.S. Senate would vote to denounce
the Advocates for Self-Government.
Because we could sure use $500,000! And believe me, we would use it for liberty
much better than the liberal Big Government MoveOn.
WHY CONGRESS SHOULD DENOUNCE THE ADVOCATES
If Congress understood what the Advocates is up to, they'd be slamming US
instead of MoveOn. Because we're a far bigger threat to government business-as-
usual.
Of course, we're against the Iraq War, too. In fact, we're against U.S.
intervention abroad, period. As we've said over and over again, we're for a
Jeffersonian foreign policy: free trade and friendly relations with all
nations, entangling alliances with none.
But more than that, we're against the whole statist agenda of both ruling
parties.
We're against the income tax.
We're against the U.S. Patriot Act.
We're against the War on Drugs.
We're against all subsidies to business and farms.
We're against government schools.
We're against a peacetime or wartime draft, or compulsory national service.
We're against a national ID card.
We're against government spying on citizens.
We're against government surveillance databases.
We're against censorship.
We're against gun control.
We're against the Federal Reserve System, the IRS, the DEA, the FDA, and just
about every other alphabet-soup government agency
... and that's just a short list. To cut to the chase, we're against any and
all government initiation of force against people and their property. Which
means just about everything the modern American state engages in.
But we're not a bunch of "aginners." We're FOR:
The Bill of Rights. Individual liberty. Free markets. Free trade. Personal
Responsibility. Limited government. Peace.
These are dangerous ideas! Just ask King George III. The ideas of liberty have
toppled statist rulers around the world, beginning with our own grand revolt
against the British crown in 1776.
WHY WE'RE MORE "DANGEROUS" THAN MOVEON
We're not just in favor of liberty -- we're DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Something
big. Something that is changing America.
We are reaching the public with libertarian ideas, and building an "army" of
libertarian supporters and activists.
And we're VERY effective! We're having great success.
We're reaching MILLIONS of people each year with libertarian ideas. Including
tens of thousands of students -- the leaders of tomorrow -- right in their
classrooms.
We're discovering thousands of libertarian-leaning folks every week with our
online World's Smallest Political Quiz. We're supplying them with the
information they need to understand the ideas of liberty. We answer their
questions about libertarianism.
We introduce them to the entire libertarian movement, so they can find the best
outlet for their political activism. We teach them the best ways to communicate
libertarian ideas to their friends, family, neighbors and the public.
And we give them tools -- like the Quiz, Operation Politically Homeless (OPH),
libertarianism.com, the Liberator Online (world's largest-circulation
libertarian publication, with almost 70,000 subscribers), outstanding books,
videos, audios... and so much more. Tools to make their activism as effective
as possible.
In this way, we're identifying, recruiting, and training the libertarian
activists and supporters of tomorrow -- a grassroots army for liberty that will
change America.
CONGRESS WON'T DENOUNCE US
Unfortunately, we can't rely on Congress to denounce us. (They never do
anything right, do they?)
So, right now, while the liberal Big Government group MoveOn is getting bathed
in hundreds of thousands of dollars, the Advocates is doing some severe belt-
tightening. Our funds are critically low. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT.
Since Congress won't give us a bump... will you?
Could you please make a generous donation right now?
Any amount will help. And if you can donate $35 or more, we have some GREAT
"THANK-YOU" GIFTS FOR YOU -- including the best short introduction to
libertarianism ever written, a great speech by libertarian Congressman Ron
Paul, and more!
See these great gifts here:

Please help us continue -- and EXPAND -- the world-changing work of the
Advocates.
Help us "Move On" for peace, free markets, and individual liberty!
Sincerely,
Sharon Harris
President, Advocates for Self-Government
PS: I've kept the tone in this letter light, but I'm not joking. Our funds are
critically low right now. We really do need your donation. It will be
enormously appreciated, and every penny will be used to build a movement for
liberty.
Will you take just a moment right now and make a sizeable donation to the
Advocates?
This will lead you to our secure donation page:

THANK YOU!

critically low right now. We really do need your donation. Its not cheap to get websites such as www.ronpaulexposed.c... taken down you know. Remember every penny will be spent censoring critics and spamming yahoo groups.
Huh??
September 23, 2007 - 13:19 ET by sarcasmoWho's trying to take anything down, no matter how BS filled? Could you or anyone BE any more clueless about The Advocates by saying that? I mean, this approaches Ted Stevens levels of cluelessness if you're serious, so hopefully, for your own reputation's sake, you're joking!

I'd replace that Stevens
September 23, 2007 - 13:57 ET by bigtimerI'd replace that Stevens name with Reid and Sons....easily.
For me
September 23, 2007 - 14:00 ET by sarcasmoThere's not a dime's worth of difference. But my point remains, anyone who thinks The Advocates would be for censoring even the most BS-filled web page is totally clueless, so as usual I stand by all my words.

and to pre-empt
September 23, 2007 - 13:35 ET by sarcasmoThe Hannity & Colmes style lie I sense might be coming now, the inability to maintain a website isn't evidence of "spam" or "censorship," it's once-again just evidence of cluelessness.

"neo con residence USA"
Last night mother told us to chew our crackers quieter as the RPM was downstairs and might be able to hear us. We all know what they did to the people at ronpaulexposed.com mother tells us, as if we needed to be any more scared of the Ron Paul Militia. Father says there is no difference between www.advocate.com and www.theadvocates.org, and I believe him. Best case scenario he says, is if the RPM crashes the meetup.com website, and the revolution dies as they collectively rediscover "world of warcraft"
like father like son
September 24, 2007 - 08:18 ET by sarcasmoThe cluelessness continues... And what did anyone but the site's admin do to that site, anyway?? Got proof it was "our" side? I doubt it...

The Saga Continues
September 24, 2007 - 08:56 ET by third eyeFeb 14, 2009
Today the RPM has discovered us hiding up here in the attic
while searching for an extra Dungeon and Dragons board game. They charged me
with 3 misdemeanor counts of “Ron Paul Bias” and 14 counts of the felony “Blatant
Ron Paul Bias”. I don’t even want to get into what they did when they found
mother’s tattoo that says “I heart The Council on Foreign Relations”. We’ve
been sent to a “re-education” camp were learn about the importance of property
rights. We are being forced to help build “mind control shields”, which block
the CIA’s mind control radio signals, which, I’m told, are filled with Ron Paul
Bias.
If this is the best you can do...
September 24, 2007 - 09:19 ET by sarcasmoI love it.

Act III
September 24, 2007 - 11:37 ET by third eyeApril 1, 2009
Oh great day of joy! The next installment of the Xbox game,
Halo 3, has just hit shelves, and we haven’t seen a member of the RPM in weeks. All the prisoners of the RPM have managed to escape its evil death grip. The “re-education camps” have been forgotten about while small groups of militia are overheard yelling “dude the graphics are sick!” and “hey man, this controller is definitely broken!” Ron Paul Bias Busting, meanwhile, has taken a back seat to the importance of Halo 3.
Hmmm
September 23, 2007 - 11:40 ET by DontFeedTheTrollsAs we've said over and over again, we're for a
Jeffersonian foreign policy: free trade and friendly relations with all
nations, entangling alliances with none.
Would that be the same Jefferson who said (in a letter to Congressional member James Monroe) regarding the 'Muslim problem':
"I acknolege [sic] I very early thought it would be best to effect a peace thro' the medium of war."

but this does substantiate the claims that Ron is an isolationist
