did "Jesus killed Mohammed" incident happen?

I heard about this a bit ago, but decided to do some searching on it. I thought I would find something about it in the news--papers or tv coverage or something.

Strange, I can't seem to find anything like that. All source I've found seem to point back to the Harper magazine article. So far, I haven't found any news source such as CNN or FOX or the NYT that has written anything about it.

Does anyone know if it's been noised about any? Has there been any other accounts of this happening?
