After reading through about 5 different stories, including Reuters and AP, I did not see Bob Levy's democratic status mentioned one single time. I had to wiki him just to find out, although I was 99.9999999999999% sure he was a democrat since it was not mentioned. Unbelievable.

And IIRC this guy is one of those "Phoney Soldiers" - he was lying about his service record.
