I heard this again last night on Hannity and script reader. The DNC and the Dim operatives are blaming the fact that the Florida Dim delegation will not be counted at their convention on Republicans. They blame Republican Governor Crisp and the Republican controlled state government for moving the state primary.
The question that I have for the Dims is why are you disenfranchising all the Florida Dim voters if this is true?

May 8, 2008 - 17:44 ET by bigtimerJerry Mack...
Here is exactly what happened in a nutshell...your forum made me think of this interview instantly...Brit was great that day too...plus I despise Wasserman/Shultz...couldn't of happened to a better loud mouthed leftist.

Thanks for the link BT
May 8, 2008 - 17:53 ET by RESTLESS 1It seems I was wrong in my posts below. Still find it hard to blame this on the repub. legislature in Fla.
LOL Restless...that is
May 8, 2008 - 17:56 ET by bigtimerLOL Restless...that is exactly my point...you CAN'T blame this on the repub's try as they might...they really believe if they repeat it often enough it will be so...!

Follow that instinct
May 8, 2008 - 17:46 ET by RESTLESS 1I may be wrong, but doesn't the state dem party make the rules for dem primaries? I don't believe that is the governor's function, dim or repub.
Jerry, do you have a link
May 8, 2008 - 17:48 ET by RESTLESS 1Jerry, do you have a link for this. This is ludicrous, even for Colmes. The state party leaders set the rules for the state primaries.
Restless1... When don't
May 8, 2008 - 17:54 ET by bigtimerRestless1...
When don't the left try to blame the right when they themselves fail? Especially following their own rules/regulations and laws?
This is what Wasserman was attempting to do months ago that is in my link above...along with all the leftists still attempting this...it is hilarious as far as I am concerned, just a big comedy show.

I try
May 8, 2008 - 18:00 ET by RESTLESS 1to see the humor, but sometimes it is just grating. At least you help keep it in perspective for me. Sometimes you just have to laugh and move on.
Restless... Don't get me
May 8, 2008 - 18:08 ET by bigtimerRestless...
Don't get me wrong...I am only laughing because of the mess they all have made all be themselves...adn now pointing fingers and drying about it all later...
Look at Hill now...Obama too...all agreeing to agree with the party in Mi. and Fla. especially Hill because she just knew she was going to be anointed, Obama now because he thinks the same thing...doesn't get any better...
Then we can go clear back to the Hill team like Ickes and Lanny Davis to name a couple here who helped make the delegates, super delegates and super super delegates BS...all coming back to bite her, plus their proportional votes in each state....LMAO!

May 8, 2008 - 18:20 ET by RESTLESS 1The dem primary system is a mystery to me. Seems completely out whack, but oh well, they made the mess, now they have to wallow in it. You are absolutely correct, it is a funny thing to watch.
Dems: Every vote counts
May 8, 2008 - 18:27 ET by LionKingEvery vote counts, registered or not ... well, except Michigan and Florida.

Every vote counts, registered or not ...". Yeah, and alive or dead too... well, except Michigan and Florida. :>)
Count the vote
May 9, 2008 - 22:28 ET by Jerry MackI remember that during the Florida recount in 2000 that you could not turn on a cable news network without seeing a dim saying "count the vote". Times have changed.
Thanks Bigtimer
May 8, 2008 - 18:07 ET by Jerry MackExcellent link. I remembered the interview as soon as I read it.
Both FL parties were stupid, as it's easy to see in hindsight
May 8, 2008 - 18:08 ET by sarcasmoAnd both were dutifully punished (as they'd been warned) by the national branches of their respective parties, it's just that in this case the Democrats the punishment mattered and the Republican punishment didn't. The ironic part is that they did this so we'd be "relevant," and if anything breaking the rules -- by an accident of political timing this time -- made Florida D & R votes LESS relevant than if they'd both just followed the rules in the first place. "Dumb" isn't just a Washington, DC problem. Tallahassee has bipartisan buttloads of it, too.

Screwed up primary system
May 8, 2008 - 18:16 ET by nkviking75It's not just the state parties in Florida, though they deserve much of the blame. It's the stupid system where Iowa and New Hampshire have to be first and other states jockey for position and influence, trying to be the state that puts the nominee over the top. It's also the national parties, especially the Dems, for operating from the assumption that the early states would have all the power.
