More than likely she/he/it is a recycled troll. It appears that they create multiple ID's that they don't use until one is banned. Seen a few posters that have been members for a year of more that never post and then out of the blue come out blasting.
I would love to see NB do an inventory of the members and cancel any account that shows no activity for a certain period of time. And it would also be nice if they checked the IP address and see if there are multiple ID's associated with that address.

Scuba, the IP address can't be confirmed because it's not always static. The IP address is dependent upon the network providing your connection. For example, if you're on your laptop blogging from a coffee shop wifi, your IP address will be different than the IP address on your home network, or any other free wifi. If it was that simple I'm sure NB would have figured it out by now.
I'm just surprised that anyone wants to ban the liberals from this site. There are so many conservatives ready to pounce at any given time, they can more than take care of the unwanted troll. That being said, I can't disagree with banning users who post under different accounts to misguide other members.
I am not looking to nor did I say that I want to ban liberals from the site. I am looking ban people who are not following the Terms of Use. Specifically people with multiple accounts. No let me ask you, if NB did that what percentage of those banned would be liberals and what percentage would be conservative?

Sorry, I didn't word that very well. I certainly didn't mean to imply that only liberals get themselves banned here. I can't say which percentage would be liberals vs conservatives. I only know of a few members who have been banned, and while most of them are libs, several are in fact conservative.
There are various things the tech folks can do. And here's a friendly cautionary note to those who are being "scammy" on this site: a cleanup sweep may be in the works. But don't worry about it or anything.
There is nothing to fear except the persistent refusal to find out the truth, the persistent refusal to analyze the causes of happenings~
