How do you posts links on NB comments when using firefox?

Is there a trick to it? I used to be able to but it hasn't worked for a long time. The link thing is always grayed out. For a while I used to just make the link in word and then paste it over but now that doesn't even work unless I do it in explorer. I just avoid linking anything now.

Dee,

So, the link button isn't available after you have highlighted the text you want the link embeded in?

Dee, I use Firefox. Here's

Dee, I use Firefox. The "link" button won't light up until you highlight something in your post.

Heres' what you do

Copy the URL of the page you want to link to. Highlight a word or two in your post to represent the link....like the words "Drudge Report." Then the link button will light up and a little box will open. Paste your URL into the top line. If you don't have "paste" as an option when your right-click there, hit Ctrl-V when your cursor is in there. That should paste the URL there. Click Insert. The box will disappear.

In your post now, your hightlighted words will be in blue, and underlined. But it won't be a "working link" until you finally "post comment." In your posted comment, the link will appear in red and be a working link

Hope this helps
