Hate to state the obvious, but maybe this website is slanted towards conservative bias, and that's why it sees a liberal conspiracy aligned against them everywhere they look. That's technically called "selection bias" and "confirmation bias." Just ignore all instances to the contrary.
In this mindset: Everyone in the media who is not an avowed conservative is a liberal out to spread propaganda (unlike conservatives, who don't do that in media, or elsewhere, including the world wide web). Centrists apparently don't exist, nor do libertarians, communitarians, or other viewpoints. The only other viewpoints are Marxism, and Islam, and really, they too are probably just subsets of liberalism, in fact, the true face of liberalism. (I'd like to know the original meaning of "liberalism" but then, that might make things complicated. Besides, historians are from liberally-biased universities, so you can't really trust them any way).
And even politifact and factcheck are now part of the conspiracy.
Or, maybe, just maybe, conservatives really do lie a lot. Maybe Republicans lie all the time, just as much as Democrat politicians, perhaps even more. Maybe, when they're cornered and have to confront their own bullshit, all they can think is a knee-jerk "liberal bias" accusation, because really, what other card do they have to play?
