The Republican debate in South Carolina was fun to watch. Cain ruled the roost as far as my opinion goes. I think the bigger question is about who didn't show up... Was it politically wise to forgo the debate? Or was it wise? What are your thoughts on who said what and why you liked or disliked them. I'm in the Cain camp right now, I believe a Rubio, West or Bachmann would add to a ticket with Herman. Your thoughts?

Out of the current candidates, I kind of like Bachman so far.

Was just wondering if you guys saw Ron Paul fit as a candidate? I disliked Pawlenty and Romney a lot. Thought that Ron Paul needs to articulate a little more, but other than that I love everything he is about. His book " Liberty Defined" details 50 most important to politics subjects and his stance on them.

Hey Ruk, I too saw the

Hey Ruk,

I too saw the debate and thought Herman Cain did extremely well.  There is a good article in the National Review today about him.  It is a good read.

I think in the debate only Cain and Pawlenty would be viable choices.  Out of those that did not attend I can tell you I cannot see myself wanting to vote for Gingrich, Romney or Trump.  I know folks think the Sarah Palin is damaged goods but that is only because she is constantly being attacked by the LSM.  I would have no problems with casting a vote for either Palin or Bachmann.

Now, I would love to see a Cain / West or a Cain / Rubio ticket, that is if Blonde wouldn't mind giving one of them up to help turn the country around.  ;-)

Scubie~

I think Blonde will give us West. I don't think she is sure on Rubio -- in that she does not know yet if he is the real deal. With Rubio, I think she has a "time will tell" feeling on him, which I can understand.

Feel free to tell me if I got that wrong, Blonde!;)

You were spot on, GG

I'd gladly give either of them up for one of the top two jobs.

But you are correct, jury is still out on Rubio. So far, he's talking a great game. But I'll wait and see how his votes play out.
