Just a friendly nudge, think about donating some money to aid groups working in Somalia.
The UN estimates that 29,000 children under the age of 5 have died in this famine, and it is expected to spread to all areas of southern Somalia. The photos coming out of there are heartbreaking. Save the Children is out there, so is Unicef, the World Food Programme, Catholic Relief Services, and Oxfam. They have varying levels of access, I think, but Al Shabaab appears to be retreating and letting people get to help, so hopefully aid groups will be able to have a greater impact.
I know I don't need to preach to this community about the effect of even a little charity in destitute countries, just making sure this is on everyone's radar.
