Phony Tax Exempt Complaint Against Media Matters

What's with the fake outrage?

Is Media Matters legally tax exempt under 501(c)(3)? Yes

You know who else is tax exempt under 501(c)(3)? The Media Research Center! That's right! You know the ones who own NewsBusters: Exposing and Combating Liberal Media Bias. And the MRC's stated mission is to educate the public and media on bias in the media.

Whereas MMFA's stated mission to comprehensively monitorin, analyze, and correct conservative misinformation in the U.S. media.

So what's the difference between the two? Both have the right to watch and criticize whoever they want.

Is there something I'm missing?

Because this is becoming as stupid as the whole Obama having "CZARS" freakout.
