I do not care about the mentality of these folks and how many friends they tell.
"Know the enemy and know yourself, and you can fight 100 battles with no danger of defeat."
Arrogant because I do not think we should back down from Radical Islam to protect our country from taking away our free speech and violence toward our citizens? You have got to be kidding me.
Don't think you get far with him, but good trying. He says we are all humans, duh. Radical muzzies are WAY below us on the human scale. He juz don't get it. Keep pounding on him though, good job friend.
The American Superiority Complex
We have the best of just about everything in our country. The USA is the best place on earth to live, I think. As people, basic human beings, we have good people and idiots, just like everywhere else. What sets a person apart from another is how they live their life, whether they can be trusted etc... As a country, yes we (in my opinion) are better than Pakistan in many ways. As for being better Humans, only our actions and reasons (not excuses) for them will tell."
our economy and way of life may be better, but we are still human beings, no one superior to the other, unless one is lowered by their own actions and words. read your constitution.
A rough estimate shows that close to half of all Muslims in the world are inbred: In Pakistan, 70 percent of all marriages are between first cousins (so-called "consanguinity") and in Turkey the amount is between 25-30 percent .
Statistical research on Arabic countries shows that up to 34 percent of all marriages in Algiers are consanguine (blood related), 46 percent in Bahrain, 33 percent in Egypt, 80 percent in Nubia (southern area in Egypt), 60 percent in Iraq, 64 percent in Jordan, 64 percent in Kuwait, 42 percent in Lebanon, 48 percent in Libya, 47 percent in Mauritania, 54 percent in Qatar, 67 percent in Saudi Arabia, 63 percent in Sudan, 40 percent in Syria, 39 percent in Tunisia, 54 percent in the United Arabic Emirates and 45 percent in Yemen.
Half of the these entire populations are at best, retarded.
untrue. but, whatever makes you feel superior.
There was three day's worth of reading in that link re: mental retardation in the arab world due to inbreeding, all from well respected academic sources in many countries, arab and non-arab alike.
BTW, are you afraid to venture outside your little cocoon forum here, or are you perhaps simply a CAIR operative sent here to complete a mission?
It's looking very suspicious at this point.
Half of the these entire populations are at best, retarded.-untrue
mental retardation in the arab world due to inbreeding, all from well respected academic sources in many countries, arab and non-arab alike.-true
inbreeding does increase the possibility of mental defect and many more maladies including deformed limbs etc... but mixing lies or unsupported personal statements with the truth can make all your statements suspect.
From downtown even! Where's Restless when ya need him???
Could not help pointing out the stupid comparison
Human beings are supposed to possess deductive reasoning and be capable of understanding and following laws; a snake is just a snake.
You're making excuses for Islam and equating them with a lesser species. You might want to tone it down before you become a target.
Human beings are supposed to possess deductive reasoning and be capable of understanding and following laws; a snake is just a snake. (They are following Muslim law, which gives them no recourse, in many situations, but to strike.-kt)
You're making excuses for Islam (Not excuses, truth of the way things are. There is no reason for murder or genocide.-kt) and equating them with a lesser species.(Didn't mean that they were a "lesser species". see above-kt)
As for being a "target"? By my having faith in my God, I am already a target, as are all people of the Christian faith.
Not to be a smartass, but I know your reply was in reply.
Secondly, and more importantly, if by being a Christian you are already a target, then what difference does it make if you put a match to a book?
What you lack soldier, is courage. You say you have belief and yet you are willing to hide that belief or subvert that belief in an effort to either not offend (which seems to be the public excuse) or cower for survival. You've acquiesced. You've surrendered.
Not to be a smartass, but I know your reply was in reply. (lol. sorry, it's a habit.-kt)
Secondly, and more importantly, if by being a Christian you are already a target, then what difference does it make if you put a match to a book? (It fans the flames of an already tense situation and could cause further unneeded death. All so someone gets a little media coverage they normally wouldn't have.-kt)
What you lack soldier, is courage. (I have never lacked courage. No one who knows me would ever make that statement and consider it to be true.-kt)
You say you have belief and yet you are willing to hide that belief (Haven't you been reading my beliefs? If not, then what are you responding to?-kt)
or subvert that belief in an effort to either not offend (which seems to be the public excuse) (Refusing to accept the truth of the situation and state-of-mind of the people involved, on both sides, is offensive in itself. I don't believe in excuses, excuses are a sign of weakness.-kt)
or cower for survival. ("cowering" is rarely a step to survival.-kt)
("cowering" is rarely a step to survival.-kt)
It is when your attempting to evade a beheading.
The belief I'm referring to is your religion and your God. Your professed Christianity is your belief. And yet while you're willing to admit that from behind a keyboard, you seem unwilling to stand up for that in the wake of Islamic agression. Instead, you cowtow to them, claiming that those who offend them are unreasonable or unjust, rather than than suggesting that their taking offense and then killing people is unreasonable or unjust.
Yes, there is a cause and effect here, but the cause is not Terry Jones burning a Koran. The cause is the teaching of a radical and inhumane religious sect; the effect is the indiscriminate murder of innocent human beings.
And no, I don't know you, but the comments on this thread and on your webste show you to be an apologist. Or, more accurately, a coward. Keep your head down mekt.
you are hilarious
Doing something (for no other reason than to get noticed/financial gain/insecurity etc...) that knowingly has a very good chance of getting people killed, is irresponsible and shows a grave lack of respect for you, me and everyone else he endangers with his negatively impacting selfishness.
There's no need to paste in the entirety of what you're replying to, and then respond in parens with your initials. Since it's your reply, it is assumed it is you who is talking.
Trust me, we'll be able to follow it.
Thank you, I will keep that in mind. I have plenty of room there.
It sure is brave to burn a Koran in the US, but I'd love to see this type of show play out in the middle east in more hostile territory.
I agree, and, would remind him/them that OUR Constitution grants religious freedom, not just religious freedom for Christians.
"Hallelujah Akbar, Zippers v.21 finally makes a friend."
What does that mean?
You have only been a member for one week and already have your own forum. Not bad so I am going to help you with your wish. Someone burning a Koran right in the middle of the middle east.
May I suggest that you watch the entire video.
An act of dissent in public protest against what is believed to be an oppressive (1. burdensome, unjustly harsh, or tyrannical: an oppressive king; oppressive laws. 2. causing discomfort by being excessive, intense, elaborate, etc.: oppressive heat. 3. distressing or grievous) and/or repressive regime/attitude/leadership etc... is one thing of it's own. An act of hate, intollerance and negatively impacting selfishness, that threatens the life/health/safety of people already in harm's way (as well as those that aren't) is unacceptable. To me at least.
Rules for thee but not for me, right?
Rules for thee but not for me, right? (What does this have to do with my original posting? Are you trying to divert attention away from my replies above, since you were dishonest and deceitful?)
I have never been accused of being dishonest here at NB. Can you please explain where this dishonesty occurred in my comments?
Your very first post was intended to engage in disagreement. I have accommodated you with examples of hypocrisy regarding religious insults. It was presented in such a way as for you and others to draw their own conclusions. Not push any particular agenda. How is that being dishonest?
OK, you can't possibly be a dhimmi unless you're French. Got it. (Wow, that's not even close to the definition.-kt)
BTW, before you start promoting a blog, it's always advisable to wait until you're well past the "under construction - check back real soon!" phase. (It's not a blog site.-kt)
All I saw was a bunch of severely overpriced and uncreative gay propagandist t-shirts. (Then you didn't pay attention, seems to be a habit of yours. Either that or it's possible you use only part of the truth as your "truth", due to the fact that there are shirts supporting our troops-like the very 1st one seen on the site's home page.-kt)
I have never been accused of being dishonest here at NB. Can you please explain where this dishonesty occurred in my comments? (You: How about YOU stop disrespecting our fallen soldiers with your dhimmitude: definition says I wasn't so instead of admitting to a mistake, you made light of it [you: OK, you can't possibly be a dhimmi unless you're French. Got it.]. An apology would have been acceptable.-kt, (you: You're obviously just another apologist for islam.: I can't find one single word or phrase that could be considered an apology for islam, so no way it could be "obvious".-kt),
Your very first post was intended to engage in disagreement. (I was looking for any point of view on the posted subject, not insults and innuendo.-kt)
I have accommodated you with examples of hypocrisy regarding religious insults. (Most religion orbits around hypocrisy, and I welcome the information if it adds to the posted forum topic. Pro-Con doesn't matter to me: Honesty does.-kt)
It was presented in such a way as for you and others to draw their own conclusions. (Thank you.-kt)
Not push any particular agenda. How is that being dishonest? (That wasn't the issue: see above.-kt)
From now on, unless it directly relates to the topic, I have nothing more to say. Thanks-kt
It was your first and only post, idiot...unless you're copping to being a retread.
PS: regurgitating back 100% of the post you are responding in your reply makes you look foolish, not to mention unreadable. You chose to come here and hopefully you have learned this is not an AOL chatroom where you won't be challenged.
PSS: The "Holy" Koran is a plague on civilization.
The "Holy" Koran is a plague on civilization.
I agree. As long as archaic rules apply, it is (in my opinion) impossible to be civilized.-kt
Classic example of chronological snobbery. We are more enlightened now than those savages were before.
"Like, my grandparents were intolerant, bigoted squares. They totally thought that marriage was just for straight people. *snort* Now that we all know better, we can proceed to change the fundamental values of our society since they're totally irrelevant and useless in this modern age."
"Traditional values" become traditional because that's what works. A life-long heterosexual marriage is the optimum environment for raising children. Ultimately, the whole goal of society (not to be confused with the government) is to safeguard the family. Without a stable, nurturing, healthy family environment children either don't grow up, or grow up to become a danger to themselves and others.
And without children, there is no future.
Muslim daily existance is built on "traditional values".
for tacitly admitting that Muslim culture is sub-standard.
Zippers, of course, is always indecent by definition.
How about YOU stop disrespecting our fallen soldiers with your dhimmitude.
You're obviously just another apologist for islam, which is borne out by your extremely reverent forum title, "The Holy Koran (Qu'ran)"
Like we don't know what the effing koran is unless you add "Holy" and spell it out in phonetic arabic for us.
Spend 15 minutes over at thereligionofpeace.com and then report back on what you learned.
How about YOU stop disrespecting our fallen soldiers with your dhimmitude: (Why would you accuse me of something I have definitely not done? Or do you not know the meaning of that Arabic language based word? lemme help: "Dhimmitude is a neologism first found in French denoting an attitude of concession, surrender and appeasement towards Islamic demands. It is derived by adding the productive suffix -tude to the Arabic language adjective dhimmi, which literally means protected and refers to a non-Muslim subject of a sharia law state." You didn't even make sense.-kt)
You're obviously just another apologist for islam (Don't see where I appologized for islam), which is borne out by your extremely reverent forum title, "The Holy Koran (Qu'ran)"(it's proper title-kt)
btw... I also wrote "Holy Bible", hope that didn't piss you off also.-kt
Spend 15 minutes over at thereligionofpeace.com and then report back on what you learned. (from that site: We also denounce any act of vandalism against mosques or other property, including juvenile attempts to offend Muslims by desecrating the Quran. (The best way of discrediting the Quran is to tell non-Muslims what it actually says about them).
If you're going to reply, please be truthful and make sense.-kt
BTW, before you start promoting a blog, it's always advisable to wait until you're well past the "under construction - check back real soon!" phase.
All I saw was a bunch of severely overpriced and uncreative gay propagandist t-shirts.
Is apparently clinically paranoid. It posts ZIPPERS on any thread I appear. I suspect it has a sad life.
This is your worst roleplaying to date, and that's saying something.
You've got them circle jerking already. Well played. But RtJ hasn't arrived yet, hmmmm. Guess that was a tad more difficult than it looked.
And for our new OP here, let me point you to this.....the correct way to burn a Koran.
And of course, Anne Barnhardt's reason for the rant, above.
