Apparently orthodox Christian theology is more of a factor this year than had been anticipated.

What with Rick Santorum, Barack Obama, and Mitt Romney (to name just a few) bringing it to the forefront of news coverage, it will be interesting to me to see how much of an impact Christianity makes between now and Election Day 2012.
Thoughts?

Quite right. Killing children is indeed forbidden in the Bible.
As for birth control, it's not at all verboten. Just the things that, you know, contribute to killing a developing child--those are frowned upon.

Inasmuch as SCOTUS has conjured abortion from a document (the Constitution) that does not support it, it will take an Amendment to, or another SCOTUS ruling, to accomplish the liquidation of Roe v Wade.
The next President will likely have the opportunity to introduce a measure to the public, but I doubt it will happen.
After tens of millions of murders, you'd think someone in a position to do something about it might actually do something about it.
Of course, our dictator is fond of abortions, even the partial-birth variety. If we can remove him before he becomes irrevocably entrenched, perhaps the next occupant of the Oval Office will end the wholesale slaughter.

I do so agree.
