Cocodrie, I had the same thing happen on my work computer. We run IE 8 but Disqus wants IE 9 for me to do any commenting. Sorry but that is BS.

Using Disqus with an iPad question.

I've seen it mention that there is a "report post " feature on Disqus . All I can see is a like ,and reply box . Am I just imagining the " report " feature.? Is it just something the iPad doesn't support? Thanks , John

I had to go to AT&t store for a new cell phone last Friday and everyone smiled at me when I told them I did't want to take pictures for show and tell and I didn't want to tweet, twit or face on it. Choices are extremely limited for cell phones that are not capable of communicating with the Mars rover. My family's first phone was a 4-party line. We kids had a lot of fun and got in a lot of trouble with it. Good memories of my happier years. See y'all tonight, I have to go.

I'll write here at the bottom of the thread (hope it doesn't float to the top), in case she ever reconsiders and wants to edit that. ;)

It's nice to still have the forums. Other than Matthew's recent post, I now can't see any comments at all on NB. I tried his suggestion regarding my iPAD (I can't be on a regular PC at this time), but it didn't work. But, of course, we know that failed attempt is ALL me.

I'll just wait and see what happens as he works on the mobile stuff. Yeah, I do feel sorry for him. So I will not complain anymore about this changeover...last little sigh for me.

Comments won't come up on my iPhone either. I'm guessing the comments section gets so big, so fast now, that it can't load them all, as it looks like it's trying.

Yeah, I've got a long way to go to get up-and-running on this new system with the iPAD. None of that clicking on avatars or trying to follow people works for me. The only way I knew you posted this to me is because I just logged on and happened to see it in the "Recent Comments" section.

I don't know where anybody is at anytime...but I can at least read the threads and comments now, although I can't keep track of anything. So I'm hardly posting at all.

Let's hope this starts working better for us too, Restless. :)

Read fast because I will probably edit this post soon.I admit I was dis-gusted with disqus but it has some benefits. I can "follow" my friends faster than the old NB. When the trolls are not flying about like lemmings, then conversations can flow fairly well. I like the "like" and I *like* the "flag" buttons...LOL I will miss the comraderie we had here but all things change...as long as we keep our little "cave" open.

Noticed a glitch J*

Far from my understanding, but I did notice something. If you have a tab open, logged into disqus at NB, a tab open and logged into disqus at another site, one of the sites wont work. could be me, could be my computer, could be disqus or NB. But it could also explain some of the deletes and no show comments some of the posters have been yelling about.
