President Obama Still Angry At Supreme Court…And, Well, Everyone Else

By Melissa Clouthier | October 11, 2010 | 11:19

A  A

Democrats love their SEIU union money, but when small business people’s voices are represented by the Chamber of Commerce, fury erupts from the administration. Watch this Axelrod interaction with Bob Schieffer. Axelrod mentions the Supreme court case. They just cannot let it go.

Here is the president blasting the Supreme Court in his radio address:

And of course, President Obama also blasted the Supreme Court in his State of the Union address which was just shocking and appalling:

President Obama and his administration simply cannot let this judicial result lie. Their lopsided speech advantage was taken away. They’re angry.

The whole Chamber of Commerce foreign money thing is bogus anyway. Go read Allah’s post to get the details. The real story, as Karl Rove notes, is that the President is blasting his political enemies. So very, very strange. And wrong.

And this attitude toward the chamber of commerce is Administration wide. ViaAmanda Carpenter here’s the energy secretary blasting them:

U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu on Thursday applauded companies that have quit the U.S. Chamber of Commerce because they disagree with the business group’s climate change policy.

“I think it’s wonderful,” Chu told reporters at a solar energy event on the National Mall. He said companies that left the Chamber object “to foot dragging, to denials” and realize that efforts to reduce emissions of greenhouse gasses are “part of our economic future in the United States.”

Fundamentally, President Obama just doesn’t get along well with people. The spiked Vanity Fair story revealed a vindictive, petty and just mean President–and that was the President interacting with one of our allies.

And this inability to let slights or difficulties go and react with anger is losing the President support even among those who have remained loyal to this point. From PWire Taegen Goddard:

Mark Halperin: “With the exception of core Obama Administration loyalists, most politically engaged elites have reached the same conclusions: the White House is in over its head, isolated, insular, arrogant and clueless about how to get along with or persuade members of Congress, the media, the business community or working-class voters. This view is held by Fox News pundits, executives and anchors at the major old-media outlets, reporters who cover the White House, Democratic and Republican congressional leaders and governors, many Democratic business people and lawyers who raised big money for Obama in 2008, and even some members of the Administration just beyond the inner circle.”

President Obama is even losing the elites. It’s Barack Obama against the world, evidently, and it’s not pretty or Presidential.

UPDATED:

Ed Morrisey asks:

This kind of rhetoric is nothing short of McCarthyism. The government makes baseless accusations and then blames the people accused for not clearing themselves. Will Obama start appearing at rallies with his “little list” of an ever-changing number of foreign contributors? The White House launched the same kind of baseless attacks on the Koch family and Americans for Prosperity this summer and have yet to offer one substantial piece of evidence that any of these groups or people have done anything wrong at all, except to oppose Obama’s policies.

This is an administration that apparently has never learned the difference between being a political campaign and serving in the government. In the former situation, this would constitute slander, which is bad enough. When it comes from the government, it’s a form of tyranny — an attempt to use the power of government to silence dissent.

Obama's a petulant child

Submitted by Blonde on Mon, 10/11/2010 - 11:40am.

Following your links to the final link.....where Obama is mad at Israel:

And things did not end there. Ten days later, Netanyahu was invited to the White House, where he was treated to further browbeating and humiliation. Photographers were banned from recording the visit. And at one point, President Obama left Netanyahu to have dinner with his wife Michelle and their daughters, Malia and Sasha.

"I'm going upstairs," the president told Netanyahu, according to my sources. "Call me when you're ready to talk substance."

Netanyahu and his entourage were then left to cool their heels in the Roosevelt Room. At one point, the Israeli delegation asked for something to drink and food. They were served non-kosher food, which some of them wouldn't eat.

Go read the whole thing.  I can't believe this isn't all over the media (well I can, actually).  If this were George Bush, we'd hear it for weeks and weeks.

Folks, we have Princess Margaret for a President.  Disgusting.
